[When the audio turns on, it catches the tail-end of a yawn, and a muttered, "Oh, goodness!"

Then there's a pause, as if the speaker is sluggishly trying to determine if they should even bother saying anything...but tenacity wins out in the end.]

So I know it's awfully late, and I should be asleep. I would like to be asleep, honestly! But I've been busy all day, and wouldn't you know it, my brain decided to think every thought it could the moment my head touched the pillow! Hoo hoo, there clearly aren't enough hours in the day, are there? But I'm getting a little sidetracked. I wanted to ask something.

Back where I'm from, and not too long ago really, I was very stubborn about believing only what I could see and investigate for myself. I still am, actually, but a bit more willing to give some leeway, and it's something I've been trying to work on while I'm here. But it got me thinking tonight - what sorts of things exist in other places might I find hard to believe? Not just home or Asgard, but in all the everywhere elses'! Or the ones represented here at least.

I guess I'm putting forth a challenge, then? I'd like as many of you as possible to tell me something about your homes that others may think strange! And maybe, if you feel up to it, you can try convincing me in its realness?

One of my best friends is an alien prince. And his boyfriend is a wizard. And we all met because of a time-traveling future supervillain from the future.

...also, in my world, Asgard just kind of hovers over Oklahoma.

Honestly, I think the weirdest thing is the fact that people still live in New York when it's getting attacked or invaded like two or three times a year. [ Says the girl who was born and raised in Manhattan. ]

[Hmmm. Aliens? Okay. Wizards? Not really her realm of study. Time-traveling future supervillains from the future? Closer to her own reality than she realizes.

So would it be this exact Asgard, or some other kind? I have heard there's apparently more than one.

I don't think it's this exact Asgard - it doesn't really look like it. If it is, I've got to find Thor and yell at him, because rude.

...but the one back home is an actual, real Asgard from the myths. You know, magic and gods and everything. Not just a place called Asgard.

You don't think this one could be something like all those myths, too?

I didn't say it wasn't. If this really is a different universe... no reason they can't have a real Asgard too, I guess.

I know you didn't, I was just checking. It's funny how there are versions of this place, too, isn't it?

I don't know. I mean, there are thousands of versions of Earth out there... I don't see how Asgard's that different just because it has gods in it.

I would just assume that there wouldn't be more than one place like this out there. It seems awful important for there to be multiple versions, but Earth is just Earth.

Earth's important, too. [ She chuckles softly. ] The aliens wouldn't keep coming there if it weren't.

Hoo hoo! I suppose they wouldn't! I wonder what draws them...

I'd like to know that too. If anyone's ever figured it out, they haven't told me.

Well, suppose we could find one of those aliens who liked coming to a version of Earth so much here. We could ask them, couldn't we?

I guess so. Are there aliens here? Besides the Asgardians, I mean, if they count. Every traveller I've met so far seems like they're from Earth.

There's a Doctor fellow here who says he is, and the trolls. I'm sure there are more.

...there are trolls? Are they dangerous? [ Those don't sound like aliens so much as magic stuff to her, but if she says so... ]

Not that I know of, but yes, trolls.
