No. You're right. We don't have to fight for them. Hell, you ask me a month ago, and I'd have been right on board with this, but I'm not letting the giants plow in just because these 'gods' are dicks. There's people I actually like here, people who haven't... [given up on her even when they should have, and have stayed without having some twisted reason.] They can't just leave, and they don't deserve to be left alone when an enemy that doesn't care who it hits comes through.

These are the same people who sent a dragon to drop a plague in this town. Screw them. They pissed me off.
