[ the bracelet hadn't been that hard for him to figure out - in fact it was a nifty little piece of technology, though there wasn't something quite like it where he came from. Of the options he figures voice is the best way to go for the very first one, if he's going to be broadcasting it, after all. No reason to show everyone his face right away.

So I see we have ourselves a little war going on. You know, this place isn't the only world with problems. Some of us were in the middle of doing something important. Enemies to vanquish, friends to rescue, stuff like that. But I guess that doesn't matter to certain parties.

Anyway, since we're stuck here, I guess I do have one question: where's the best ice cream in this dull place? I told a friend I owe him some.

A lot of us had some crap to take care of before the kidnapping. They're not the most considerate kidnappers you've ever heard of, but they're far from the worst I've ever seen. Personally, screw 'em.

I'm not much for ice cream, but if I were betting, probably Freya district. There's a set of hot springs out there and a bunch of 'relaxation' sorts of things. Seems like it's one of the entertainment districts. I don't usually go.

Yep. I'll fight their damned war, for my reasons. Not theirs. Nice to see they're hijacking people with a little sense these days. Let me know what it's like if you ever end up going over there, though. I've never actually tried one of those things. The city's full of odd stuff.

So what do you do for entertainment in this place?

Reading. Work with plants a lot. Work's actually pretty relaxing for me most days. It's good to feel like I'm actually accomplishing something. But, when I'm not doing that, I get in some reading or one of the people around here tries to drag me out and socializing. That and punching idiots usually takes up plenty of my free time.

Well, that sounds like a nice arrangement. Relaxing, punching people. Why not?

Welcome, yeah, such as it is. Place isn't all bad, but hopefully you don't have to get stuck here for too long. What house did you end up in anyway?

It's not all bad, but yeah... Loki's better. Easier to just blend in there, or at least as much as I blend in anywhere.

Oh hell yeah, but you'll know why if you ever actually stop by Pinch of Sage down in Loki. Painwheel runs the counter and I handle the actual herbs and such. It's usually hard to miss either of us.

Just don't try to see me around the new moon. It's for the best.
