[ On the screen appears a rather attractive Frenchman; dressed more casually rather than wearing his standard uniform. France seems rather comfortable despite his current predicament of being new to Asgard. He's found his way around easily enough, however, and learnt the basic information he needed to learn. While he's not so great with computer like devices, he's finally figured out how to get onto the network. ]
Bonjour, Asgard! You may call me Francis Bonnefoy.
I come from the lovely country of France! Have you heard of it?
I suppose I have to accept this mission to "restore the color to Asgard", non? Regardless if I have to or not, I will accept. I come from the country of love, after all!
It'd be lovely if you'd introduce yourselves to me!
[ his laid back attitude changes to a more serious one at this point, though the bright smile he's wearing never leaves his face. ]
Also, by chance, would anyone have information on an Arthur Kirkland?

Re: video
Miss Claire, could you tell me more about this place?
And perhaps, more about yourself, oui?
video
As for me, I'm not too interesting. Just your average college kid being transported to another dimension by some desperate gods. Same old, same old, you know?
Re: video
Au contraire, my dear, is that really all there is to you?
[ France's curiosity is piqued now. He wants to know more about her. ]
Re: video
Unfortunately, yeah. Don't get me wrong, I like this new power that I have -- growing plants -- but other than that, I'm incredibly boring. [ Mostly. ]
Re: video
[ But he'll move on from that. ]
Speaking of powers, mine is the ability to - transfer energy, it seems!
Re: video
That seems like a useful power. Whose house are you in?
Re: video
Though, I am still waiting on the housing assignment...
And you, my dear?
Re: video
I'm probably pronouncing it wrong. I'm not used to these kinds of names.
Re: video
[ He pronounces it the way he thinks it's pronounced. ]
Like that possibly, oui?
Re: video
Re: video
Have you been to your House yet?
[ As he's still waiting on his assignment, he hasn't seen his yet. ]
Re: video
Re: video
[ this is good news to him. ]
Re: video
Re: video
Speaking of that, I am quite a good cook.
Is there anything specific you have a taste for, Miss Claire?
Re: video
Um-- pasta, I guess. Why do you ask?
Re: video
[ though it's less of doing the polite thing and more of wanting to get to know her better. ]
Re: video
Re: video
Well, if you need anything, you let Big Brother Francis know, yes?
Re: video
Yes, sure, I will. It'd be nice to talk to a few familiar faces every once in a while before I go stir crazy.
Re: video
[ But then he's distracted by that next bit, anyway. ]
My dear, you must not let yourself go "stir crazy", oui?
I'm sure there are... enough around here that are stir crazy enough for the rest of us!
Re: video
Re: video
If you let yourself go stir crazy, it'd be hard to go back!
Re: video
But I think I can bounce back from it... eventually. I've bounced back from worse.
