[the feed cuts in on Keine in the middle of figuring out how the bracelet works exactly, much like many of the others lately, a bit of a frown playing on her features as she does so.]

Good afternoon, everyone. [an informal tilt of her head as she says that]

This is quite a troublesome predicament we have all got ourselves caught up in, isn't it? I am Keine Kamishirasawa -- written in Kanji as 'wise sound', 'upper white valley stream'. But I guess that wouldn't have made much sense to those not familiar with Japanese, would it? [a faint chuckle, silly her. Just give her a moment, as she decides to add something else.] Ah! I am with House Sigyn, in any case, and it's a pleasure to meet you all.

While I'm personally not too fond of our circumstances, I do nonetheless wish to get along with each and everyone, and work together towards completing the goal the gods here have for us - restoring color and life to the City - there's no harm in doing as they wish for now, before a way back to our homes is known, is there?

I look forward to working with everyone. [another informal tilt of the head, and she'll allow a few more seconds for the feed to run before cutting it]

I'm glad that there are other people who want to help. [Gently, with a very small smile.]

There's no point in moping around about how we can't return home on our own, is there? [similarly gently, here]

... no, there's not. [With an extra layer of meaning for her.] And - I know it probably wasn't right to steal us like that, but that must mean they're really desperate, right? And it's only right to help someone who needs it that badly.

My thoughts exactly. The question remains, though, if they truly had no other alternative than to turn to such a solution - it certainly is an unorthodox means to resort to, even for gods.

Do you know a lot about gods? I learned about the Japanese ones at home, of course, but I don't know anything about these ones. I didn't know any of them were real.

I guess you could say I lived with them... But they're really very different from what's being taught outside of where I lived. [sheepish, almost.]

You lived with them? Really? [There are a million questions on her face, but she doesn't want to be rude and bombard this poor woman.]

Do people say they're better or worse?

Well, it's more having them in an immediate vicinity than living with them under one roof, to be precise.

I'll just leave that to your imagination. [after all, it's not good to speak ill of others behind their backs!]

That's still... I didn't know people and gods could be so close. [She's still not adjusted to the idea that there could be something more than humans here.] I thought that was all in stories and stuff. But then, I guess we're pretty close here, aren't we?

[Frowning a little.] I'm sorry... it's been a few days, and I'm still kinda confused by all this.

Not many people do, so don't worry about it. [her gentle smile would seek to reassure the child.] After all, the realm I had come from had been largely unknown to the outside world.

But in this place... I suppose that's true.

Ah-- It's only my first day here, to be honest -- It's only natural to be confused, really, all things considered.

Really? That sounds kind of lonely... were you allowed to leave? Or did you have to stay hidden, too?

Oh - ! Well, don't worry, it's not too bad here. I mean, it doesn't look very nice or welcoming, but there's a lot of good people here. Um, what's Sigyn house like?

Hrn... I wouldn't say we weren't allowed to leave - but most people who turn up generally prefer to stay.

Ah, I can see that. I'm talking to one of these good people right now, in fact! It has a nice, welcoming feel so far, and Lady Sigyn has quite the amiable disposition.

[Is - she talking to someone else, or does she mean Nakama? There's a blush on her cheeks, but she doesn't know, so she doesn't say anything about the possible compliment.]

That's what I've heard about Sigyn. I'm in Heimdall, and he's... he's different from most people, but not bad at all. It's just obvious that he's not a normal person.

[she chuckles a little, at how the girl blushed at the compliment.]

Ah, well -- Gods do have that feel about them, don't they? While Lady Sigyn seems rather friendly, she does have that divine presence about her.

I guess I didn't know what to expect. If I ever thought about meeting a god at all, I thought they'd be... scarier. Not just like people, only different.

Ah... That's true. [after all, not everyone comes from a land of fantasy like she did] There are also those who are especially notorious for being unforgiving and ruthless, after all.

Yeah, I've heard of gods like that. [Nervous.] You... don't think any of the patron gods are like that, do you?

I wouldn't discard that possibility entirely, since I haven't met all of them yet - but I'm sure we'll be fine as it is; I certainly doubt they would just bring us here to dispose of us.

No... [Her voice is a bit choked at the casual use of that word - dispose - but the other words have a ring of truth to them.] Saving someone's life just to end it again doesn't make a lot of sense.

That's right - So there's no need to worry about that.

You're being really calm about this, for your first day. You must be brave.

[brave?] Oh, no. It's probably a lot more appropriate to say that I'm more experienced than my apparent age might betray.

Hyahahaha... that's a pretty colorful name.

That's true. It's always better to try to compromise a little, right?

That's right. There's no point in denying their hospitality right off the bat, is there?

That'd be something, huh? Thirteen kids... I don't know what I'd do with that many siblings.

...hm, well in America they say something like, "there's no such thing as a free lunch." Practicing the Japanese custom of restraint might be a good approach for now. [ says the guy happily taking everything he's given. ]

It would be something, indeed! The thirteenth generation then, perhaps?

Indeed, but in such circumstances, there's little choice to be had on the matter.

Tch... no one likes to be forced to do anything. It's a shame... the gods would probably get much more cooperation if they at least gave people a little choice.

[ah... then she's wrong? But the only other alternative that comes to mind is... incarnation. Possibly.

It's not something I'd mind too much, to be very honest - I only hope those back home are doing just fine without my presence... [but Mokou would help with that while she's not around, right?...

... as long as she's not the one that ends up burning the village to the ground while searching for her...

That's right. They only ask that we live in this place, after all. [at least, that's what she's heard]

Normally if someone forcibly relocated you, you'd object.

"Only ask"... that's an odd way of looking at it. It's a pretty big thing to be uprooted!

Indeed, that would be the norm - but in the case where it is pointless to object, why not go with the flow for the time being? There would be a time to take action, would there not?

Perhaps I worded it inappropriately - would "require" suit your tastes better?

Yes, while I agree it's quite a big deal to be uprooted from a place you are most comfortable with, to be thrown into a place like this... It would be wise to first find out more about everything that's happening, rather than to outright oppose against those who have utter power over you - that would be evident if our powers have completely disappeared, and so many of us have been brought here at the same time, no?

Sometimes you object just for the sake of objecting. Lawyers do it all the time.
