[ The voice that comes over the network is straight to the point, he doesn't waste time. It's too dark to see anything over the feed, so he leaves it on voice on his end. He tries to bite back the potential strain in his voice. ]

A building collapsed while my friend and I were taking cover. We need help, if anyone can help lift up the rubble.

[ There isn't so much as a pause when he speaks again. Not really for himself, but for his friend's - Killua's - sake. ]

--If there aren't any healers who are helping others right now, we've both been injured. We're both fine for now, but we were both looking for a healer before it collapsed.

Kind of. [ Shrugs his shoulders slightly. ] But, this time, others made it out fine because I was out here. So, it's fine.

--but, I really appreciate you helping us!

Just don't go blowing your arms off or anything, I can't do stuff with that.

[His thanks is met with a shrug, and a small grin.]

No prob. It's about time I met you anyway, if you're Killua's friend.

[ He just laughs. He can't really make promises about any injury he gets. ]

[It's said entirely without annoyance, and she grins back.]

[Ellie glances over at her, then quickly away, trying to make sure she won't blush.]

I'm her... we're each other's girl. I mean, we're- yeah.

Dating. The word she's looking for is dating.

[SHE LIVES!]

[ Gon just responds by laughing a little. Looks like Riley got some rest, too. ]

We don't go on dates.

Hey. Wanna go on a date later?

[ He'll just observe now until he has a reason to speak up. He tries to relax for now, letting Ellie finish her work. ]

[Oh god Riley you are the most romantic. She isn't even finished bandaging this guy's back.]

Yeah. Sure.

[She grins at her then finally sits up.]

Sweet.

[Ellie finishes with the bandage, trying to hide the pink cheeks, and clears her throat. Then she pats the bandage firmly enough to buckle the knees of someone with a low pain tolerance.]

There you go, all patched up.

[ Gon takes that moment to shift, observing her work. He grins. The pain is still there, but it hurts much less. ]

Thanks, Ellie! It feels a lot better!

[Ellie realizes she smacked his wound a second after she does it, but. Gon definitely didn't seem to feel that. Are these kids superhuman, or what?]

... uh. Good! Glad to hear it!

You guys, uh, need anything else?

[She finds Killua's eyes and gives him a what the fuck sort of look.]

[ He can't help but snort when Gon completely ignores being smacked right on his injury and Ellie looks so utterly horrified he just starts cracking up.

Whiiiich hurts his ribs a lot. He ends up grunting and making a face and trying not to laugh, and not really succeeding. ]

We'll - be fine until the healers get here. Probably."

[ It still hurts, but he can bear this much... ]

--Yeah. If there's anything we can do to help you guys out later, let us know.

[Ellie flashes a little smile at Killua, stopping herself from laughing at his expense.]

I guess we'll stay with you until then. Could have been a whole lot worse, you guys got pretty lucky.

Yeah, we might not have had a chance to go see the dragons! We still have a chance to talk to them.

[ Priorities. He believes that they wouldn't have died anyways. Or, Gon wouldn't have let Killua die. ]
