[Haytham sighs as he works on getting used to this new technology. It really is quite baffling, even after having posted with it once or twice before. Really, wouldn't a simple letter on paper suffice? An in person meeting? Alas, it looks like this is the norm so he supposes he will have to just adjust to it and begins to speak in that high class British accent of his.]
Ah. There we are.
[He nods, looking thoroughly pleased with himself, smiling a bit as he lets satisfaction wash over him.]
Now that I have this confounded contraption working for me, I believe that it is time for a proper discussion regarding certain aspects of this apparent war that we are facing. After all, I do believe I am at a bit of a disadvantage with my lack of knowledge which could hardly be considered fair play. I have some details but not nearly enough to satisfy my curiosity.
[Then he frowns just a bit.]
Also, knowledge on where to get a decent cup of tea in this crisis would be most welcome. Assuming no one decided to dump it into the water. [He gives a wry smile at his own joke before finishing off with...]
I'd also be curious to know what my son, Connor, is up to of late. Should you fail to be aware of who he is, one need only look for a man very much like a bear with a baffled or vexed expression fixed to his face. [A little bit of a smirk appears as he continues.] Or you could tell me yourself now that you have had some time since your return from your rather warm mission, Connor. I do believe you have had enough time to recover, yes?
Thank you and have a pleasant day.
[He tips his hat then signs off.]
[ooc: Haytham finally makes his presence known! He's been looking around a bit and arrived during Mission Volcano. So now he thinks it's time to say hi now that things are settled. Best dad or best dad?]

I may know of a place to get tea, and can certainly fill you in on matters of the war.
As far as your son... he will likely come find you now that he knows you are here. This is something of a city for family reunions.
Audio
Also, I must thank you for speaking of my son. Let us both hope he follows through.
Re: Audio
[he lets out a chuckle.]
Sons will do as they will, I have three of them and a daughter.

So you return to us again, messere Haytham. Somehow I am not surprised.
audio;
Yes well, I could could hardly stay away from such pleasant company.
[Such a cheerful tone. Does he mean it? No, not really. He has no idea how you know him.]
audio;
I am certain that is the reason. [Not.] Asgard here is at war, as you have heard. We fight against Thiazi, who plans to win on the day of Ragnarok and destroy all our worlds. It is our duty to prevent that.

You know what? No. This is his home now, and Desmond isn't going to play the 'shock/gasp/horror' game with this third or fourth iteration of his Templar ancestor. They will either align themselves or lightly squabble on the periphery; Haytham's not stupid and won't trigger the might of the Assassins here, not as outnumbered as he is.
...of course that hinges on Haytham knowing there are more Assassins here to begin with. His own son would be obvious; the others, probably not.
Desmond opts to poke him instead. ]
I didn't know George Washington had any children.

[Yes, he saw you there too, young man.]

Here, have another English accent for a change.]
One would think that the swiftest course of action for an understanding father would be to ask your son in person.
video
[See? He thinks of these things.]

You believe he would have reason to sulk? I would have thought that any child would be pleased to have some family arrive here.

Couple places you can get tea. Pinch has it if you don't mind herbal varieties. I can answer questions if you stop by.
...Connor... Connor. Met a Connor once or twice here. Don't know if it's the same one, though "Confused Bear" sounds about right.
Video
Pinch. I will have to keep that in mind.
[And now he has to smile a little.]
It does. It seems quite appropriate and I assumed it would be the best way to have people recognize him.

There are a few places where one can get a decent cup of tea here, actually. But I can give you the locations,if no one else has, yet.

The man is offering tea locations, an essential matter to be sure.]
Please do, my good man. I am plenty eager to hear what you have to say.

There are many who enjoy a warm cup of tea as you do. I do believe there is an establishment or two who are still open. I do hope you find somewhere or someone thoughtful enough to donate the items needed for it.
Now, if I may be so bold as to inquire, what do you wish to learn? I'll do my utmost to answer as many as I am able to.
audio;
[And now, he'll get the story about this place from this person. Might as well since more than one point of view can be quite essential.]
Perhaps you could start from the beginning and tell me how all of this started based on what you know.

He'll go find his father instead. Haytham mentioned being in Baldr in his earlier conversation with Giovanni; with a bit of luck, he should return from the castle about the time Connor manages to escape from his daily tasks and make his way over to that district.
When he sees Haytham, he doesn't bother being particularly quiet. That brief time when his father and mother were in the city helped prepare him for the possibility of it happening again, and his time with Ezio in particular has helped him puzzle out some of his thoughts with regards to Haytham. He moves through the crowd with ease and falls into step beside Haytham, dressed more like Desmond in a shirt and jeans than like an Assassin. There isn't the slightest hint of Assassin insignia on him anywhere.]
Father.
[action]
It must be Desmond's influence.
Oh yes. He's spoken to that particular young man already. His apparent "grandson" of sorts.]
Connor. I was wondering if I would have to hunt you down myself.

You've gotten quite a few responses already. Have you received answers to your questions yet?
