{12th Gunshot; Video}
[Today, Asgard is greeted with a video of Clementine, a finger to her lips before she holds up a small container of glitter. Using her shadow control, she then spreads it along the top of the ceiling fan, waiting for someone to come along and turn it on to watch the resulting expressions and mess, either in her house or somewhere perhaps even more public, like the school. Either way, she's hiding somewhere nearby, close enough to stay hidden while having a view and earshot of the room she just set up.
And hey, if she has to clean up? It'll be worth it. And it really is overall just some harmless fun. Something she hasn't had the chance for in a long time, what with everything back home and the time it has taken overall for her to keep readjusting to Asgard. And if she says it is 'homework'? She wouldn't be lying, with Riley's wording. Just don't mind her over here with the not suspicious at all glitter at her hands. Tell her off, get caught in the glittery mess? Offer to help her clean up in the after math?]

[Especially once Christa started showing and needed the rest more frequently. They were too busy trying to survive to think of such things as pranks in that situation. Clementine bites her lip and looks to the side. So many people here couldn't begin to imagine her life back home. They're lucky. But there were still people like Riley who come from a similar situation and she's so cheerful nobody would ever know it. She's why Clementine is trying to rekindle this. Acting her age. Being a kid.]

Walkers?

[Which....is what happens to basically everyone. They leave, get bit or they die. The groups Clementine finds temporary reprieve with are and did slowly get smaller. And probably would keep getting smaller, once she goes back home to find out what is going on again. If she does. She's not sure she would choose to, if given a choice on it.]

So it's just something everyone carries in them? Like ... antibodies or whatever? Only ... bad.

[But she would rather not find out, given that would mean her or Lee dying. Which would still be painful even if it isn't permanent in Asgard.]

[Not just the odds, but the fact that it seems like no one can just die peacefully. People don't deserve that, to become cannibalistic shadows of themselves.]
I guess being here must be a break.

[It's kind of easy to see why Clementine initially freaked out when she was told that people get brought back after dying, given her circumstances back home. And she spared Lee turning at least.]

I get that. I just don't trust the gods.
[What good is it if they can't all stay together?]
no subject
[Which is why Asgard is both amazing and bittersweet at the same time. That having Lee around brings that constant reminder of what happened, the guilt.]

I wish it was that easy for me. I have people like that here too.
[There's a pause.]
I guess I'm just used to waiting for the other shoe to drop.

[But as of yet, there's no specific answer on that from the Gods. They're too busy figuring out the here and now and can't say how they might be able to negotiate things once the war is over.]
No kidding. There's always some kind of catch. Being here and getting food, water, shelter...and there's the war.

Nothing comes for free. You always have to pay somehow.

[In her experience, if something seems too good to be true? It probably is. Even if you don't realize it immediately.]
no subject
Do you want to give it another go?
no subject
[Her shadows gather the glitter and help pour it back into a small container before Clementine closes and pockets it.]
no subject
Sure. See you around.
[And with that, she's gone!]
