asgardeventide | {12th Gunshot; Video}

[Today, Asgard is greeted with a video of Clementine, a finger to her lips before she holds up a small container of glitter. Using her shadow control, she then spreads it along the top of the ceiling fan, waiting for someone to come along and turn it on to watch the resulting expressions and mess, either in her house or somewhere perhaps even more public, like the school. Either way, she's hiding somewhere nearby, close enough to stay hidden while having a view and earshot of the room she just set up.

And hey, if she has to clean up? It'll be worth it. And it really is overall just some harmless fun. Something she hasn't had the chance for in a long time, what with everything back home and the time it has taken overall for her to keep readjusting to Asgard. And if she says it is 'homework'? She wouldn't be lying, with Riley's wording. Just don't mind her over here with the not suspicious at all glitter at her hands. Tell her off, get caught in the glittery mess? Offer to help her clean up in the after math?]

I might be. But not everyone knows how to fight. Some are better suited for support. We still need healers and that sort of thing. And the adults supporting can help teach the kids and keep them out of the fighting.

[Because even after everything she has been through she knows even Lee would want her safe and away from the front lines so to speak. The fact she can look after herself is still valid, but that doesn't lessen their desire to protect her. Treat her like the kid she really is.]

Of course we do. I think it's important we make sure those people have somewhere safe to go. Especially if we lose the city.

Yeah. Back up plans are good. Just in case.

No. You can't. Not here, and not back home either. Not with the war escalating. Kinda sad that even with that, I still prefer this to home, really.

Sometimes, home just isn't what it cracked up to be. Best we can do is live as well as we can, here and at home and appreciate what we do have, even if it's very little.

Yeah. I know. I'm trying to make the most of this. And being with Lee.

That's good. Time with people who are important to us is a good thing this place gives us.

Yeah. We meet people we would never have had the chance to back home. I'd never have met the Doctors, or Ellie and Riley, Alice.

Exactly. It's given us that, if nothing else, and that's always something to cherish.

Something to cherish. I guess. Just sometimes you have to look really, really, really hard. Not so much in other situations.

Course you do. That's what makes it all the more important, all the more special.
