Buon pomeriggio Asgard!

Aladdin, Tony Stark and I have been working on a project for a few weeks now and I think we are to the stage where we could use some help with it. That is if anyone interested in a light weight armor with the added protection of runes? We could use a few volunteers to test the design.

We need people with all sorts of different shapes and body types for this. It's important to get all information we can so this will work.

[Aladdin says over his shoulder, he is doing a few last minute checks on the rune work.]

Si, just as he says. So would any of you be willing?

Well the magic for runes here run on the ambient magic of this world. The runes from other world just wont connect to with the magic here.

I find that rather fascinating. So you've studied runes back in your own world?

Not really, I did most of study since getting to Asgard. We have magic in my world, but not like here.

There were others that used runes that help to test things out.

What sort of tests?

I guess I can start at the beginning. There was a lot of research into runes before we ever able to use them here.

So a lot of the test happen after we got the uses. First tests were to see if the magic in the area would be drawn in by the other world runes. Then using Runic ink as a medium to see if there would be any reaction. Finally just drawing those arrays that already had high amounts of magic. There were no reactions in any of the tests, sadly.

So a number of people tested the runes from their own worlds, but only the ones that were of this world would work here.

I find that very fascinating.

It certainly is, before the war really start baring down on us. I started a guild to learn about magic from here and the other worlds. It's amazing how many different forms there are.

[The guild is still around, sadly the focus had shifted to preparing for conflict more then expanding knowledge.]

We use wands, if that's what you mean.

Oh I knew a few wand users actually, there was Hermione, Harry, Mr. Snape, and Draco.

I also met Miss Lily and Mr. James.

I'm pretty sure that was their last names. I know they were married, they acted married at least.

[What qualifies as married to him is a bit screwed up, thanks to people he knows back home. ]
