No. I couldn't remember my own mother. I was a wreck. It was uncomfortable and unpleasant, but in more of a "You really didn't need to know all that" sort of way.

And I think we need it because the kids should get a childhood if they want it. They're losing it, trapped here and fighting a war. It's one thing if they choose to fight. I think folks coddle kids way too much, but if they want that childhood, let them have it. I'm glad it's here.
