[It's early evening when she turns on the bracelet to address the network properly since the first time she returned. Again. But this time, it's different. The gem isn't Sigyn's green anymore. Instead, the colour signifies her as being in Hel House now.]

I was wondering...I'm guessing I'm not the only one here that has changed Houses? It'll take a bit of getting used to. Going from healing to shadow control once I came back from being back home again. I know Ellie mentioned Joel can use it too. I've just never been in Hel to remember anyone else off of the top of my head.

[There's a shift of her hand a bit as she manipulates the shadow of her teddy bear into one from a triceratops next to her.]

It's kind of neat though. I'll be able to use it more defensively and offensively than my healing anyway. I need to practice though. Any requests?

[Yeah. Lets just. Focus on the power thing and ignore the implications this particular house has and everything. :lb]

It's alright. I left that district weeks ago; I'm more or less in Freyr now. Although I must admit, I am not very fond of the shadow control, which is why I rarely use it.

I'm not sure how comfortable I am about it, but....if it's there and I can use it to help defend myself or Lee, I will. You're in Freyr district now? Okay, I'll try remember that.

[On the rare occasion it is Clementine that seeks the elder Alice out, anyway.]

Yes, with Mr. Maglor.

[ Asgard has a great supply of father figures, apparently. Papa bears at that. It doesn't dawn on her until she switches gears to shadow control. ]

Exactly. If you can think of something to block it with, that's when it's effective.

Oh, okay. Right. I guess at least I'm...a bit more used to fighting. Than others might be at my age. I'm sure I'll manage.

[A few papa bears, yes. Lee being one of them. Which is part of the reason Clem isn't entirely expecting to be out actively fighting.]

I'd rather have none of you fight, truth be told.

[ She had gotten very upset hearing that the little Alice asked to be trained by Maglor which prompt her to beg that he be easy with her and insist she would follow. ]

As I'm sure you, Ellie, and the little one know.

I know. You're probably not the only one. But...I know how to take care of myself. I managed back home, alone, until I found Omid and Christa.

[But Alice is hardly the first to be protective. To treat her like the child she actually is, even if she feels worlds older due to her experiences.]

[digophelia]

[ She hates to ask and shows immense hesitation. Maybe she will feel better about it if she asks. ]

How are you?

[littlesurvivor]

I'm....okay. A lot happened back home. Ellie gave me some aloe for my cheek though, it's getting better.

[digophelia]

[ It is not much of a surprise for her face to darken as she says that. With a nod, Alice sucks in a breath to speak. ]

It shouldn't leave a scar. I wouldn't put cold water on it; it will just make it swell more.

[ Thank goodness that it's minor; Alice has a few burn scars that are hidden. The burns she endured as a child were terrible, leaving her wrapped head to toe. ]

I don't think my cheek will. My arm will from the dog, but not that. My cheek was just from Carver when he got mad.

[And Clementine is lucky that was all. That it wasn't worse, given what happened to others that pissed him off. But she gives a nod, making note of the water. If she notes Alice's displeasure at Clementine's injuries she doesn't mention it.]

I'll keep the water thing in mind, thanks.

[ When it comes to burns, yes, Alice is visibly cringing. ]

Have you seen anyone for the other injuries?

Sure. And uh, not really. I mean, besides my cheek and arm I'm.....I'm okay. All that blood when I got back, that wasn't mine. We were trying to get through a horde of walkers outside at the carpark and the one way to do that and get past them is to kill one and smear their blood on you so you smell like them.

[It's. Gross, but it works.]

[digophelia]

[ The sad part is, Alice doesn't seem to be really horrified or disgusted as she speaks about smearing blood on one's self to blend in with the undead. ]

Well, that's certainly creative.

[ And to herself, she wonders morbidly how that would really work. ]

So I'm sure that your clothes still remain intact, or did you grow a little more since that last time you've been here?

[littlesurvivor]

Creative is...one word for it, I guess. It's how Lee and I got out of the hotel over to the jewelery store back then, so I figured it worked then, should do this time too.

[There's a nod.] My clothes are mostly fine. I mean, I rinsed and washed them. And it was mostly my jacket that I stained, not the shirt and t-shirt underneath, or my jeans. I don't think I've grown that much this time around.

[digophelia]

If you like, I could take a look at your jacket to see if I can mend it.

[ Just don't ask her how she knows how to take out blood. ]

Yeah? I rinsed it out first to try get the blood out. If you think you could help, that'd be great, Alice.

[It's. kind of bright, that light sky blue and the rainbow being perhaps a bit tacky or childish but it does keep her warmer. And with the walker situation, you take what you can get.]

[digophelia]

[ Even at her age, a good number of clothes still retain that childish quality to them. And blues happen to be lovely colors.]

I will give it a go; there's no point in tossing out perfectly good clothes when all they need is little fixes.

Exactly. I mean. It's the only jacket I have. Or, at least, from home anyway. If we can get the stains out, it would be fine. It fits and doesn't need any other mending. It's just the blood.

[digophelia]

That's good to hear.

[ Maybe she's being a little too nonchalant about that. ]

Well, then, if you like, I can come fetch it from you so that I may work on it.

Sure. You know where I am.
