[ Rapunzel appears through the bracelet looking a little worse for wear. She gives a soft sigh and small awkward smile to the bracelet feed. ]

Hey um... I know this is going to sound a little crazy, and maybe I'm just tired or something but...

[ She frowns and starts fidgeting with her hair a little. ]

Has anyone else been hearing... strange noises? No, not just any noises but... sad noises? Like reaaally sad noises? I've been hearing them for a while now and I've gone out searching, but It's like it's impossible to find the source...

[ She faces the bracelet again. ]

I just... I want to see what's wrong. See if I can help maybe. Anyway, that's all I wanted to ask.

[ Looking a little calmer now. ]

Mine is Rapunzel.

Thanks. I never thought of it as 'cute' before.

[She gives Rapunzel a half-smile.]

Which house are you in?

[goldensprout]

Me? My house is Sigyn!

[honouraryfitz]

I'm in Freyr.

I know the Sigyn powers are pretty swell, but I don't remember what they are. Which one do you have?

[goldensprout]

Okay okay get this! I have the power to make flowers appear! Do you know how cool that is? Like POOF! Flowers everywhere!

[honouraryfitz]

Really?

[She gives Rapunzel a sort of half-smile.]

If you show me, I'll draw you something. That's my power--I can draw things and pull 'em out of the paper.

[goldensprout]

Woah! Can you really do that? Rusty you're so amazing!

[honouraryfitz]

Uh-huh. 'Bout as amazing as making flowers appear out of thin air.

[goldensprout]

I guess both of our powers are pretty neat. So I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

[honouraryfitz]

O.K. What do you want me to draw you?

[goldensprout]

... A lantern. One floating in the sky?

[honouraryfitz]

O.K. Do you want me to pull it out after, or do you want to keep it as a drawing?

[goldensprout]

Pull it out! Pull it out!

[ She looked a little embarrassed and cleared her throat. ]

I-I mean... I guess you could pull it out. That'd be cool.

[ nice safe. ]

[honouraryfitz]

O.K.! [Rusty doesn't mind lots of enthusiasm--she's pretty excited to show off, too.] It might take me a couple minutes, though. I dunno if I've ever drawn a lantern before.

[goldensprout]

I believe in you! You'll make it look perfect.

[honouraryfitz]

O.K. And you should grow...I dunno, whatever your favourite flower is. Ready? On your mark, get set...go!

[If it's a race, it's one Rusty's gonna lose, but she doesn't mind. She takes off her bracelet, figuring it'll be O.K. for the moment, and sets it at an angle so that Rapunzel can watch what she's drawing.

It takes her five or ten minutes to be happy with the sketch, and while it's not perfect, it's objectively pretty darned good for someone Rusty's age.]

O.K., I'm gonna pull it out of the paper. Are you watching?

[goldensprout]

[ Rapunzel had already grew a few cutie little flowers of different colors and was happily just watching Rusty draw instead. ]

of course I'm watching.

[honouraryfitz]

[And she pulls the lantern out of the paper. It's the size of her hand, the candle within only a picture itself; Rusty hasn't gotten to the point where she can make items that have other things inside them.

Putting her bracelet back on, she grins at Rapunzel.]

Whattaya think?

Rusty it looks absolutely adorable! Your powers are seriously so cool!

[honouraryfitz]

So're yours. Look at all those flowers!

You're just saying that.
