Video - Day 446

[When the feed clicks on, it shows a dark room with very little light. Anyone who peers a little more closely can see via the light from the screen that the caller, Stiles, is in a bathroom. With the lights off. He appears to be a bit stressed out and is on the floor, looking almost fearfully over behind the screen. There's a clawing noise and little squawks and chirps coming from it.]

Okay. Okay. Um... Okay. Would, ah, would someone mind telling me what the hell a dragon is doing in my house? Like, a real dragon? Oh god... it was trying to eat my feet. I think I'm bleeding. Am I bleeding? I might be. It was chewing on my toes. What the hell... How did a dragon get in my room?

[To anyone that knows Stiles and the aforementioned dragon, something might seem a little... off. Like why Stiles doesn't know said dragon is his.]

Scott? Rachel? Do not come in the house. Seriously. I... it might eat your faces off. I happen to like your faces right where they are. Please don't lose them.

[The fact that Stiles is whispering, sort of, and sounding stressed has Hale scratching a bit more intently at the door, little snout trying to fit in under it as he chirps at 'daddy'.]

Oh god. Oh god, it's going to come in and chew off all my favorite parts. If I don't make it out alive, Rachel, I love you. Scott, please take care of her. Derek... somehow this is Peter's fault. Kick his ass.

Uh huh. And as a weapon, it's old. It's right up there with throwing rocks and clubs.

[bratking]

You've obviously never seen a proper sword fight if you think it's equivalent to throwing rocks.

[teenyoda]

You've obviously never seen guns, canons, grenades, bombs, fighter jets, flamethrowers, or anything you can pick up at your local hardware store if you think swords aren't pretty much the same as rock throwing.

[bratking]

I have seen a gun. I asked for one of my own, but no one would give me one.

Are the rest of those things even better than guns?

[teenyoda]

Um, yeah, kind of. I mean, a grenade's a bomb you throw and BOOM. You got your rocket launchers and flamethrowers, which are entirely badass. But if you really want to make someone wet themselves, get a fully stocked tank.

[bratking]

What's a tank? Where can I get one?

[teenyoda]

A tank? It's like... this big metal vehicle that you can shoot at and throw things at and no one cares because it's a tank and nothing can hurt it. Except for maybe like... a bomb thrown in it. And I don't think you can get one here.

[bratking]

So it's basically invincible? Sounds like this war would be over fast if the gods here would build some.

[teenyoda]

They don't seem so big on the tech side of things. They'd win with a freakin' A-Bomb.

[bratking]

Why can't they just take a tank or an...'a-bomb', then? Why only take people?

[teenyoda]

I have no idea. They don't seem to like answering logical questions.

[bratking]

They don't seem to like answering any questions.

No, no they don't. I'm not sure if I should be worried or pissed off.

[bratking]

I've been angry with them since the start, haven't you?

[teenyoda]

Well, yeah. But it's when they do crap like this that I get extra mad.

[bratking]

We're all angry, it seems. Yet no one wants to do anything about it.

[teenyoda]

I don't think that it's so much no one wants to as much as it is no one knows what the hell to do.

[bratking]

Refuse to fight until we're given more information, perhaps.

[teenyoda]

Right. And how long do you think that would last if we've got giants stomping around in the city again, killing people?

[bratking]

Not long. We'd just hope they gave up before we did.

[teenyoda]

Good luck on that. They enjoyed it way too much last time.

Then they sure don't seem to be taking this war seriously. Why should we?

Considering we're the ones dying? Yes.
