[Appearing upon the video feed is a small girl, no more then five feet tall in height, clad in a red jacket, skimpy top, and jean shorts. Despite her under dressed appearance, she carries herself in a bold and haughty manner that would most befit a child of nobility.]

Do any here know upon which criteria these so-called gods use to select whom they summon this war? For it seems to me that they must be so low as to be buried within the earth itself for women, children, and worse to be called forth to fight in a conflict that, from the sounds of it, would be better served by those talented in swordplay and sorcery.

Regardless of what the answer may be, I find that this is the most ridiculous conflict in which I've have ever fought. But I will fight it nonetheless, for my pride as a knight would let me do no less then to see this war through to its conclusion. For if anything, it will prove to be valuable experience for the battles ahead.

[As she clears her throat, Mordred's face turns from one of annoyance to a more neutral expression, as if the previous statement had been weighing upon her mind for a few days now.]

With that done and buried, I must inquire of you all where I may be able to acquire a proper sword? Since someone seems to have thought it amusing to strip me of both my proper armor and swordarm, I must obtain a replacement soon before my talent goes to rust.

Umm, I though we were supposed to be helping people find their color again. Maybe they don't really want us to fight, but to help keep everyone's spirits up with what's happening.

It would make sense if such was true, but what then of those such as myself? I have no desire to help anyone find their color or any such nonsense.

I-I don't know. There might be someone that would have the same interests?

If that is true, it may be possible that the various gods of this world choose whom they summon on a more individual level then I had imagined.

[Mordred sighs.]

That makes my question a complicated one, and one that I am not sure can be answered by any one person.

Someone did say that everyone in that same house had similar traits. But I still don't get it.

I was sorted into the house called Hel, I imagine I will have to investigate just what that means in the near future.

That's what house Ritsuka-kun is in, though I haven't met anyone else from there since he tells me to stay away from it. Everyone else I knew was either in Freya or Sigyn though.

Would you mind telling me a bit about this "Ritsuka" person? It may help me to understand what manner of people are sorted into Hel.

About Ritsuka-kun, alright. Umm, well he's super cool and can be really cold to people that he doesn't know. But he's actually really nice and has a great smile. [She seems to blush just a little thinking a little more about him.] He's really encouraging and supportive. Ritsuka-kun always sticks up for me when the other kids in class pick on me.

I will have you know that people in my time lived far shorter lives then those of people in modern times, making it perfectly sound that I was a knight at what you would consider a young age.

[There was nothing in all the world, save for perhaps her own father, that Mordred disliked more then being questioned about her achievements and ability. It was enough for a glimmer of anger to spark behind her eyes and ignite a bonfire that would surely consume her better judgement if left unattended.]

Well here's another reason, fifteen and a girl. Where I'm from, all the stories about knights were about men.

[Whale...is a goddamn idiot. As such, he's completely ignoring that glimmer of anger in her eyes.]

I am no girl, and unless you wish to die you will never say such a thing ever again in my presence.

[And there goes that spark, poor Whale had hit upon one of the other things that could cause Mordred so much pain to here.]

Okay, tiny lady knight, I've got no idea about where to get a sword, but I've got a hunting knife...somehow, so getting a sword isn't entirely impossible.

I haven't seen the criteria but I agree that there are people that shouldn't be.

[ Many incapable of being able to fight in the war - in skill or ability. Or age. There are children here, and they shouldn't be made to participate in war. Given this speakers appearance... Maria isn't sure that she should be here either, but some are started young - like Natasha. If she's capable and willing then that's choice ]

If you find armaments I'd be interested to know.

Indeed this is no way to fight a war, anyone with even an ounce of leadership experience would know that. Soldiers must be a well trained and virtuous lot, so to recruit them at random and without oversight is foolish at best.

[This was the problem Mordred had with Asgard's war, there seemed to be no real rhyme or reason to any part of the divine plan backing it. At least with the Grail War she had a clear and present goal, kill the opposing seven servants and be granted a wish. Simple, straight forward and focused to a degree that the second war she had been summoned to fight simply wasn't. It was a frustrating set of circumstances to be sure.]

Is it truly that difficult to obtain proper weaponry in this place?

I haven't been here long enough to know that. I've heard more mention of powers than arms.

That is a shame, I've never been one for magic or anything of similar nature. But I imagine I'll just have to keep digging till I can find someone who knows where I may find a sword, I feel quite naked without one at my side.

I'll keep an ear open for one.

[Mordred thought for a moment. Without her armor and the magic that went along with it, it would be much more difficult to hide her true identity then it had been during the Grand Grail War.

For now, she thought, it would be better to hide behind her title, as to not stir up any trouble that the release of her true name may bring.]

We are meant to bring color. The war is something you do only if you want to.

And I heard we answered the gods' call, unconsciously.

That is simply ridiculous, even in the deepest depths of my mind I cannot imagine a part of me that would answer such a pointless call to actin.
