001 ✱ [Video/Action] { Morning: Day 444

[The woman who appears on screen isn't looking so hot. A shaking hand wipes at the corner of her mouth, trying to erase any trace of what had just happened though it still looks like she's going to be sick, her pale skin dotted with beads of sweat as she sways on the spot. She's barely made it out of the palace let alone had a chance to explore Freya's district and it doesn't look like that's going to be happening any time soon.]

Ohhh-kay. [Blinking a few times to try and clear her vision.] You know I've had hangovers that felt - a hellova lot better than this.

[A soft chuckle escapes, one with a nervous edge to it and she presses herself back against a wall that is likely the only thing holding her up right now.]

My name - [Another wave of nausea rolls through her.] My name is Jenna Sommers and I - [She sinks down, holding up a hand as if to apologize and shakes her head.] Yeah I'm going to - try this again later... Unless you really wanna see the last thing I ate.

[Which you really don't. Really.]

[Castle doesn't. Which is why for now he's going to stick to audio.]

Don't try having more alcohol to make it go away. Been there, done that, had an even worse hangover the next day.

[What a way a show up here: hungover and sick.]

Probably because alcohol is better than magic. ( that's sharp, and spoken as though fact. then, more gently, she asks: ) Are you alright?

[She's seen people arrive here, back from the dead. It's not the first time, not even for people she knows. After all, John is here, one of the many that has died trying to keep her alive. (And not the last. It never seems to end, really.)

But it's Jenna, one of the people she truly let down, who didn't know what she was getting into until it was too late, a needless sacrifice in the mess that had become her life.]

Oh my god, Jenna? [Don't cry, don't cry. She might not know.] Jenna where are you?

[If only Jenna understood how thing worked in Asgard. If only she'd been more focused on what was happening and less focused on trying not to be sick, she might not have immediately jumped to the worst possible conclusion.]

No... [Jenna's face crumples, the sight of Elena not the comfort it should have been but a vision that makes her whole chest ache.

Jenna knew what was coming before she ended up here. She knew that she'd failed to stop Klaus. She was dead and if Elena was here?]

Ohh - god, Elena, no... [Shaking her head, trying to keep the hurt from contorting her features.

She'd failed, failed to protect her in every possible way.] You're not supposed to be here.

Magic? Heh - great. [To Jenna, Magic meant witches and her one and only run in with a witch hadn't ended so well for her.] Think I'll pass on the hair of the dog then...

Uhhh - You mean, aside from feeling like I've just been through the spin cycle at the laundromat? [She tries a chuckle but it's forced, like somebody trying to be more positive than they actually feel.] Yeah. Just a little travel sickness, which is new.

[New for her, she's never been travel sick before but she doesn't realize that's new for people coming to Asgard in general as well.]

[Elena's mouth gapes open slightly. She expected a lot of reactions, but this wasn't one of them.

Though she can maybe come to it, given what Elena's thoughts were about herself when she got here.

She knew. Jenna knew.

Her stomach twists all over again.]

Jenna, I'm fine. I'll explain everything, just...please tell me where you are. I'll come and find you.

Got it. Stay away from the tequila.

[Trying to infuse humor into her voice though it doesn't completely hit the mark.]

Not the first time I've said that one.

[Berating herself whilst trying not to be sick made for a twisted picture, Jenna covering her mouth with a hand that refused to stop shaking, the ache in her chest so intense that for a moment, it drowned out everything else, the pain in her head, the swirling of her stomach and all she could do for a long moment was stare at Elena and try to keep the tears from springing to her eyes.

I'm fine.

Her eyes narrowed, confusion reflecting back as Jenna tried to decide if that was the truth or if it was Elena trying to offer her reassurance that wasn't there.]

Uhhh - [Riding out another wave of nausea, lines creased her forehead and she shook her head, trying to pluck the name from a head that was too thick for clear thought.] Freya? That maid was talking about Freya but then I felt sick and had to stop.

[She breathed in again, out, looked at her screen and tried to keep her voice from breaking as she spoke again.]

You're really fine? [Terrified of the answer but she had to know.]

Hair of dog...? ( she sounds more than a little skeptical. ) Is that a witch thing? Because the gods were bad enough.

...maybe you should sit down.

[Wow, this is crappy timing for him and everyone else in their cast but the Originals to not be in Asgard. But whatever at least they can still communicate. And Elena is there which is the important thing.]

Jenna? It's Stefan. How're you doing?

[Well this is a face he isn't expecting to see. Maybe he shouldn't provoke her, but-- when does Klaus ever really show restraint?]

[In his experience, tequila almost always led to poor life choices.]

Every time. [In Jenna's too.] Never did manage to take my own advice though.

[There's another pause, Jenna breathing through the nausea before she follows up with a question.]

Is this... normal?

What? No it's an alcohol thing. [The words sounding strained.]

Oh trust me. I lost all choice in that matter. [The legs didn't really want to function anymore.] God - how long does this last?

Stefan?! [There's more than a hint of disbelief in her voice and though it might be awful, the relief that floods her a second later has little to do with him.

If he was here, at least Elena hadn't been alone.]

Oh, you know... [She tries to force herself to sound casual, cheery but it comes out as a combination of snarky and barely coherent.] Nothing a little ginger ale and dry toast won't fix.

[Except, not at all but it feels like the worlds worst hangover.]

Just what I need. [Yet clearly not from the edge to her voice. It's hard to sound all that angry though when she's still trying not to be sick.]

You don't happen to have anything useful to add do you or - [Now she's simply refusing to be sick in defiance.] - are you just here for the show?

[Jerking back from her screen is a pointless response and yet it doesn't stop Jenna from doing just that, pressing herself back against the wall as if she can actually escape the face staring back at her.]

What the hell are you doing here?!

[The shake in her voice having more to do with her anger than the fact that she wasn't well.]

[First the ass with his unwanted comments. Then Klaus. Now she was actually staring at the face of John Gilbert? Between this and the nausea, Jenna would really like an exchange on her welcome party.]

Oh you have gotta be kidding me?!

Nice to see you again, too. I see you've already seen what other familiar faces are here.

[He sighs even if her reaction is an egoboost. Her death was never personal. He was just pushed into certain actions. He needed a vampire, and Elena is just as stubborn and strong willed as Katerina, only that time he wasn't letting his doppelgänger get away. Not when he needed it to kill Mikael.]

Same thing as you are, Jenna. To end the Apocalypse that would destroy not only their world but ours. [He waves it away.] Or some such heroic nonsense these gods tell us.

[Elena is pulling a light jacket on even as she's nodding and heading for the door. She's been here more than long enough to know where Freya district is, and finding Jenna shouldn't be that hard so long as she doesn't try to go anywhere in the meantime. With the way she practically looks green, she's guessing she won't, even if she wanted to.]

I'm on my way.

[Elena looks at her, nodding firmly. She'd died, yes, but she'd come back. Human, thanks to John. But the details weren't what was needed now, nor the added knowledge of her future, the one she hadn't lived yet.]

I'm fine, Jenna. I promise. [A beat.] I'm also not the only one here from Mystic Falls.

( oh wow, she must be getting old if that just went over her head. )

I wouldn't know. I didn't feel anything, when I came in. Aside from confusion and terror.

You could just ask for a doctor or something, y'know.

Isn't there like a really gross drink that helps with hangovers?
