All others, I need your knowledge of Asgard. All ancient cities have their safe rooms, secret places. But I don't know this city well enough to know them. If you've found any places that would withstand this, or seen any maps with those old secret places on them, I'd ask you share it. Children and any who can't defend themselves will need some place to go, should this spread. Until then, Hemidall House is open to any who need a safer bed.

The God Houses are quite strong. There was an earthquake previously, and they held up remarkably well.

The Welcome Halls hold well enough--they did before, when the ground shook, though I've not heard of anyone from any house who stayed in a hall that wasn't their own for long--and as far as I know the hospital does as well.

[Roland isn't going to hear any protest from Robb, mostly because he isn't too sure he'll be able to fall asleep any time soon. Not with everything going on, anyway.]

They start to feel discomfort, if they stay in a hall not their own for long enough. From there, it builds until they have to get out. [That's as much detail as he's willing to give on it.] It only happens in the Welcome Halls, though--I haven't experienced it anywhere else, nor have I heard of it happening outside of them.

A few hours. Not nearly enough time for a full night's sleep, I'd imagine.

So good enough for a last resort, but little more. Maybe some of the natives would be willing to share their homes instead.

We may need to start conserving water and food as well. Water in particular- if this keeps up who knows how long the plumbing is going to last. We can't assume that sanitation is going to be easy, either.

True enough. I'll make sure any in Hemidall know to do so. If it comes to it, could any with drawing powers make create water fit to drink?

I have absolutely no idea. But I think can check if there's a rune that might be able to help- and we might want to talk to the ice people. And the fire people, come to think of it; freezing and boiling could both be beneficial.

I see the use of fire, but what of ice? We hardly need any more of this. [He gestures toward an icicle as he turns, starting to head toward Odin House anyway. By the time he gets there, it'll be explained.]

Truth be told, I'm not completely sure, but a gut feeling tells me that when something is screwing you up, people who have control over that thing can certainly be an asset. Even if they're probably better equipped to tell you how than I am.

There's no knowing what's needed, just yet. Only finding some safer place for anyone in the most effected areas. [The camera blurs with sudden movement before his face reappears, expression dry.] That said, I could probably use someone to watch my back.

[He's been in better situations than having to trust that a total stranger is both able willing to keep from running scared or stabbing him in the back. But what better way to learn more about the people he's trapped with in this city? At least there's that.]
