[John is standing near his new "house", fiddling with his bracelet. He's taken everything he's heard and let it sink in before finally seeing what this bracelet can do. He's familiar enough with smartphones and webcams that he gets the hang of it fairly quickly.

His eyes glance over his shoulder to Loki house, then back to the camera. He gives his audience a charming smile]

Can someone please explain to me why Loki's colors have to be orange? I know we serve under the god of mischief, but do we have to look so tacky doing it?

I suspect the answer would be 'yes' and perhaps a matching jumpsuit.

Of course, but that isn't really the point. The point is, we really need to re-think our color scheme.

No, seriously what. He already had one lookalike here (who was British for some reason), he did not need another one. Whale just gives the camera a flat stare, obviously debating skipping out on his hospital shift and just getting drunk. But, the lookalike's got a question and it's time to answer it.]

Better than Baldr's at least. His are this weird sea-green sort of shade.

[His face plainly expresses the fact that 'this is super weird for me, it better be super weird for you also.']

[if it's super weird for Whale, it's downright disturbing for John. No. NOPE. This is not supposed to happen. He can't have a doppelgänger. The Gilbert ring never would've worked on him if he did...

Yet the man is right there in front of him. John opens his mouth, closes it again. Debates]

I have to admit, that does sound like a dreadful color to stare at.

I'd show you but I'm kind of recording this with my bracelet. [He gives a small little shrug, a sort of 'eh what can you do.' The setting behind him is decidedly not green, and resembles a break room of some sort. Combined with the fact that Whale's wearing a labcoat (and possibly a nurse in the background), it's pretty obvious that he's at a hospital.]

Maybe later, once I'm off work. I could take a picture of the welcome hall or something like that.

[Wait. What? That's his doctor's face, but his doctor is not in Loki. And now his doctor is talking to this guy with his face, two same faces talking, and they're clearly not twins.

There's something to be deduced here, of course there is (other worlds have people with the same face that are mirrors? totally different? Will's not actually losing his mind with this one?), but he decides to just approach it like he doesn't know Whale and his fairies at all, and—

Will talking about tacky colors. Haha.]

Do you like the color black?

In a way, I think you just answered your own question.

[Have a man in a violently colorful outfit.]

Perhaps it's Loki's favorite color? Or perhaps all the other ones were already taken.

Sure. Black is sensible and can go with just about anything.

No one ever said you had to wear it--or even live with it, if you manage to find another place to live.

[he isn't supposed to be here, or anywhere else for that matter. He can only assume something went wrong with the spell, which means Elena might be in danger. So yeah, he's not in the best mood]

I didn't realize you had a choice in living arrangements.

Certainly--though most of them require rent, so if you wish to live somewhere for free you will have to put up with the decor.

Of course, I doubt they would stop you if you decided to sleep outside, though I don't personally recommend that at this time of the year.

[he rolls his eyes a little] So we're called here to fight the war of the gods, but you can still get a job and rent a place?

Hm, you'd think they could get more creative if that's the only reason.

... Ain't been here long, huh?

Long enough to tell the difference between being fucked with and bad interior decorating.
