[The video feed opens, and a confident looking Kate is there, more composed than some others who have utilised the video feed here.]

Good afternoon all.

[She may be intruding on your day, but at least she's polite about it.]

So, a question, fellow Travellers, since it appears to be the done thing. If a scientist were looking for work here, where would you suggest one starts? The last thing I want is boredom setting in, after all.

{Short but sweet. Why waste words when you don't have to?]

You could try the school, perhaps?

Probably nothing descent but hey, you could always try you own brand of personal science while here? That's what I do.

Not really a job offer, but I'm working on something. Think you might be able to help.

I find it quite rewarding.

I'm thinking 'bout experimenting, with the powers. See if we can't make them make sense. Or at least explain them a bit better. ( forcing science on magic seems like a good idea. )

--speaking of. I never asked what yours was.

I teach drama. And information regarding will have to come from Mr. Snape or Fiona Gallagher. Actually, you'd have better luck with the latter rather than the former.

Maybe something chemist-y?

No.

I believe there's an introductory course, and biology. But aside from that, it's tending towards magic.

I'm a Time Lord, it's practically heresy. [He shrugs.] Needs must.

Guess they figured they could fight ice with ice. ( it's a bad joke, and he quickly brushes past it with a roll of his eyes. )

Healing. Which is why I want to test them all out, actually. If we're relying on magic to be our offense and defense, we should know how it works.

[ Because, honestly... this is not particularly a question he is proud of asking. He feels like he should know this, yet... ]

What, pray tell, is a "scientist"?

I'm still working out how to go about it, but I figure you could help with that, too.

He's the man who's talking about his own brand of science. I'm sorry, I thought you knew?
