[The feed opens on Bucky, who looks pretty well for someone who's been grey for two days, and anyone who lives in or visits Freya's Welcome Hall pretty regularly will recognize his surroundings as one of the rooms there--it's neat enough, that much is obvious from the way the bed's tucked in with hospital corners, if a little less lived-in than others.
Some habits are just hard to break.]
Yeah, so, lesson learned, I guess: don't take off the fancy bracelet when you're outside, unless you like having a hole in your memory once you get it back. [A little huff, and he runs a hand through his hair.] I kinda doubt I missed anything while I was grey, but I dunno, did I?
[Moving on, he stands up.]
That being said, I'm getting a little sick of not having anything to do but walk around the city. Anyone out there looking to hire someone? I'm up for it--I can do heavy lifting, customer service, even give lessons, if you wanna learn how to shoot a gun. [A breath, and the light look on his face quickly turns serious.] And seeing as we're in the middle of a war, I get the feeling a lot of you are going to need to. Least so you can keep yourself safe if anything bad happen.
[And with that cheery note, he walks over to the table where he's set his bracelet down, and turns the video feed off.]

They're plenty reliable, if you know how to use them. Which is why I'm offering. And it's not as simple as aiming at somebody and then pulling the trigger. [Bucky you sound personally offended.]

[He's so handsome!]
And yes, it's a good thing you learned the lesson quickly enough. Some people don't ever seem to learn that lesson... or willingly ignore it.

A gun, ma'am. But you don't have to take me up on that.
[Bucky huffs out a breath.] It's a good thing I'm a fast learner, then. That's not something I want to go through again.

[Yeah. Guess who has no idea what a gun is. Have fun explaining that, Bucky.]

[Oh. It's that girl he was suspicious of before. Now he just feels a little guilty towards her, so he adds:]
And, uh, sorry about the other day, ma'am. I don't know what got into me.

I'm listening. What's a gun?
video; private
It's--okay, think a bow and arrow. [Except that's not the same thing but dammit he's trying here.] They're ranged weapons, but a gun's more compact, easier to carry around. You don't have to worry about stringing a bow, and it's a lot easier to carry bullets in a pocket than arrows.
--granted, some guns are a lot heavier, but, still. 'Sides, I never saw anyone using a bow and arrow outside of movies, so.

But at least you didn't come back from being grey handcuffed to your bed? [ Scott's not just being random, he's describing what happened to him. ]

It's a ranged weapon. Think--I don't know, a bow and arrow, or even a tiny cannon in your hand. Do you have cannons?

Nope. If anyone did, I didn't hear them.

Some of us are rather unfamiliar with these "guns."
Okay, think--a bow and arrow. [Except not but he is trying, goddammit, not his fault the only time he ever saw anyone using bows and arrows was in movies.] Except you don't have to carry around a quiver for arrows or worry about the string snapping. The recoil can be hell, depending on the size and how experienced you are, but it's faster than arrows.

After a few tries, she figures out how to work the bracelet, a smile on her face.]
So... are these shooting lessons out of the kindness of your heart or is there a price?

Seriously, though, kisses aside, they're free.
