[The voice is quiet, uncertain even as Elsa tries to remain confident. Not quite demanding, but more curious and anxious about things she had heard from home. About the fjord. About Anna.....]

I was wondering. How time seems so....strange here. I don't remember some of the things others from home have told me about. I'm not quite sure how that works, what to make of it exactly. I only know that if there is some way to use that, to change what happens, I'd do anything to. To keep Anna safe. Though I am not sure if that would be possible. Do we remember Asgard at all once we leave and return home to be able to use that information? Or do we forget it and simply continue to make all the same mistakes, even after having been told about them here? I am told some people are taken home and brought back, so surely this is something we can answer?

If anyone can help, I'd be grateful for it.

Do you wish you could do what is to come without any mistakes?

Not a clue, I'm afraid. It's as if we've never been here.

My understanding is that one's memories of Asgard don't carry over to the world from which one came. Perhaps giving us a look at future events and letting us go home with knowledge of them is a bit too close to cheating.

My friends have apparently come and gone between my home and Asgard, Miss, and they never remembered this place. I'd assume they would have told me about it sooner if they had. [A pause.] Though I do understand where you're coming from. Knowing some of the things I know now, it'd be nice if I could remember them if I were ever sent back.

I've ... been back and again. I remembered nothing. [She sighed and shrugged.] I've been trying to work on ways to remember. Potions, anything, but everything I've done so far didn't carry over.

It's not what you're wanting, I'm sure.

My brother has come and gone between our home and here, and remembered nothing of this place. I suppose there are reasons for it, but I do wish I could remember.

No. We forget. At least, I forgot when I went home...twice. [ He pauses and chews on his lip, knowing it's not what she wants to hear. It's not what he would want to hear either. ] I'm sorry. But...if you can learn from your mistakes here, can't you do the same at home? Even if you forget. You're capable.

I've gone into my own future, completely forgetting what I did here before I came back a day later.

In a way, we're living here on borrowed time. [It's possibly the best way to put it.] When we're returned, we continue on.

Time is very... wishy washy timey wimey, so my father and mother always like to say. You can't expect time to be anything like back home, your majesty.

And from what I've seen so far, no one remembers Asgard once they leave, not properly. But if they do come back, it's a bit... of half and half to remember having been here.

I cannot speak for more than one man, or more than I have lived. We leave, we recall nothing. We return to this world, we bring all knowledge gained. It is an uneven transfer.

But... perhaps such things went differently for others.

[Stefan isn't entirely comfortable with the network yet, but he's at least learned how to make things private between two people, so at least there's that.]

The same thing happened to me - people knowing more about my life than I do. But I haven't been here long enough to know if there is anything about that we can use.

[especially considering Elijah's accusation that he had been compelled, by an "Original." What does that even mean, and if an Original came here, would they be able to release those memories? None of it made any sense.

I don't know a lot about what happens in my future, but I know enough to know it isn't good.

[He and Elena aren't together. That's knowledge enough.]

[ Oh, her again. Leaving is kind of a sensitive subject for him, but... ]

I don't know why everyone is so interested in time, but you probably couldn't remember when you go back. Not without screwing up the timeline.

No, we don't remember when we're sent back.

But that doesn't mean you can't make the best of things here. Fix things with the people you care about--in case you don't get a chance to later.

As for how it works ... Do you know about time travel?

I was told if someone leaves Asgard, it will be the same as it was from when you've left. It seems a few remember Asgard when hey return; I am not sure if it's the same for everyone that manages to leave and come back.

[ ...well then. Kieran only even bothers watching the network to keep tabs so that he doesn't have to actually talk to people, but going home and coming back... gets his attention. ]

You forget. [ He's been kicked out of Asgard once already. ] I hear you just go back to whatever it was you were up to back home. I'm pretty sure that happened to me.

But it's a good thing. Who needs to remember this crazy city? Or all the new friends they've made? And all the fun they've had? Not to mention the horrors. Pfft. [ Oh, he cares a little. Because at this point, he much prefers being in Asgard than being back in Mystic Falls. ]

So who's Anna?
