001 Theft ☄ Video
--Oh hey! It works! [The audio clicks on before the video does, showing a beaming girl with a key stuck in her hair. She seems to be taking the transition to the city well. At least if her smile and the backdrop of a starry night were any indication. Kay's managed to somehow make her way to a sit on a roof in Loki's district.]
Wow, I thought it would be a lot harder to use this bracelet, but it works just like a cell phone. It's still weird though. Whose heard of recording something on a bracelet?
Anyways, that's not really what I wanted to talk about. My name's Kay, okay? Or the Great Yatagarasu. Either one is fine. I just arrived to this city and, well, I'm not quite sure what to think about gods kidnapping us--
[She pauses and blinks, smile fading for just a moment before coming back, like an idea hit her.] ....Except that we need to investigate on the matter...
But, what I'm really, interested in are these powers! I've never heard of anything like them before back at home. Did anyone figure theirs out? If you did, how'd you find it?

But still...at last, a familiar face. Miles has had enough of running into people from a strange future where Wright was supposedly disbarred...and honestly, he could use the help with investigating.
A part of him worries, though. Even if the worst thing that has happened to him here was getting stuck on the dunk tank - A FACT THAT KAY MUST NEVER KNOW.]
[He's seated at his desk, a book open in front of him and the rest of his work on either side. The prosecutor has been working...working since day one.
His eyes narrow slightly, as if he's about to launch into another lecture. It's not a glare, though. Just a warning.]
...And get down from that roof at once.
Heh, looks like you've certainly made yourself at home there. [Oh yeah, she heard that warning, but she'll chalk it up to selective hearing this time.]

Kay, be careful!
...I didn't have much of a choice. [Miles has found himself with more spare time on his hands these days, anyway. In between investigating, studying and practicing with the frigid equivalent of the Midas Touch.]
Being stuck here's kind of boring, isn't it? [Certainly wouldn't be like home for him or any lawyer, she figures.] How long have you been here, anyways?
...Uh, where are you, anyways?
A little over three weeks, if I'm not mistaken. And, I am in Odin House at the moment.
Video
Video
So, does that mean you have super strength now? Like Superman?
I have Fire Magic. [He makes a flame with one hand, briefly, but he doesn't seem too impressed with himself.] The maid told me about it when I first got here, not that exciting.
Investigating does sound like a good idea.
[Making fire with one hand, omigosh how cool. Her eyes light up.] Aw, really? You didn't accidentally light anything on fire by mistake? Bet you'll never have to go around looking for a lighter or matches now if you need them.
Great. Maybe we can make a team or something!
[He is a responsible young man.] I don't usually need a lighter, but I guess it is cool.
That would be great, actually. The more people working on it, the better, right?
Smart move! And you never know when you need a light. The power might go out or something. It can be useful sometimes.
Yup. The more the merrier. Have people been looking around for answers and stuff?
Good point. Anything might happen here, from the looks of it. It sure is different than back home. Oh, and I'm from California, by the way. America.
It seems like there are already people investigating and gathering information, which is good. There's a big library, with books from just about everywhere, but we don't know much about the place itself. Or the gods.
What kind of power do you have then?
no subject
[She's lying though.]
no subject
Seriously?! Oh, that's cool. Must be kind of hard though.
[She's got a mischievous grin on.] Flown into anything by accident yet?
no subject
It gets wobbly though.

I was unaware that the Yatagarasu was considered "great" by any sense of the word.

The Yatagarasu is a great figure! A modern-day Robin Hood who does not rest in the pursuit of truth and justice. Like a noble raven vigilante, it'll do anything to bring wrong-doers to justice. [huffhuff]
...At least in my world, that's what it means.
no subject
Can't help you with the powers.
no subject
...Unless someone already was, heh.
