Wow, I thought it would be a lot harder to use this bracelet, but it works just like a cell phone. It's still weird though. Whose heard of recording something on a bracelet?

Anyways, that's not really what I wanted to talk about. My name's Kay, okay? Or the Great Yatagarasu. Either one is fine. I just arrived to this city and, well, I'm not quite sure what to think about gods kidnapping us--

[She pauses and blinks, smile fading for just a moment before coming back, like an idea hit her.] ....Except that we need to investigate on the matter...

But, what I'm really, interested in are these powers! I've never heard of anything like them before back at home. Did anyone figure theirs out? If you did, how'd you find it?

[He's seated at his desk, a book open in front of him and the rest of his work on either side. The prosecutor has been working...working since day one.

His eyes narrow slightly, as if he's about to launch into another lecture. It's not a glare, though. Just a warning.]

Mr. Edgeworth! [She practically bounces on the spot, wobbling for just a moment to catch herself and regain her balance.]

[STOP BOUNCING, YOU'LL GIVE HIM A HEART ATTACK. He gasps and tenses as if about to jump out of his chair and run straight to wherever Kay was - but wherever Kay was, it wasn't Odin District. Besides, she had to know better.]

Kay, be careful!

[He regains his composure (she'll be fine, she's old enough to take care of herself...even if she did run off INTO A BURNING BUILDING AND GOT ACCUSED OF MURDER AND THAT CASE GEEZ) and clears his throat.]

...I didn't have much of a choice. [Miles has found himself with more spare time on his hands these days, anyway. In between investigating, studying and practicing with the frigid equivalent of the Midas Touch.]

[She does know better, but hey, she's happy enough right now just seeing him. And she'll come down... eventually.]

Being stuck here's kind of boring, isn't it? [Certainly wouldn't be like home for him or any lawyer, she figures.] How long have you been here, anyways?

[He feels a little more impressed with himself now that she's impressed. He just didn't think it was a useful power, since generally it's not good to set things on fire.] No, I was careful and practiced in the sink first.

[He is a responsible young man.] I don't usually need a lighter, but I guess it is cool.

That would be great, actually. The more people working on it, the better, right?

[Well, it isn't useful, and she should know having run into a burning building once before, but he seems capable of not being a total pyromaniac. ]

Smart move! And you never know when you need a light. The power might go out or something. It can be useful sometimes.

Yup. The more the merrier. Have people been looking around for answers and stuff?

Good point. Anything might happen here, from the looks of it. It sure is different than back home. Oh, and I'm from California, by the way. America.

It seems like there are already people investigating and gathering information, which is good. There's a big library, with books from just about everywhere, but we don't know much about the place itself. Or the gods.

I observed my housemates for a while. Then I tried it out. It's not a very advantageous power to have, as far as I'm concerned, and I haven't used it since.

So you just watched other people do it before you tried? Hmm, I guess that'll work too.

What kind of power do you have then?

[He's pinged by Yatagarasu. The symbol exists in his time as well, though used by the Saika Faction to represent their ideals. It's kinda laughable as it's nothing more than a pretty bird, but oh well.]

I was unaware that the Yatagarasu was considered "great" by any sense of the word.

What? Are you serious! [Gasp and shock. Kay's forgetting that not everyone is from the same world here, but to ruin the name of the Yatagarasu is not going to sit well with her.]

The Yatagarasu is a great figure! A modern-day Robin Hood who does not rest in the pursuit of truth and justice. Like a noble raven vigilante, it'll do anything to bring wrong-doers to justice. [huffhuff]

...At least in my world, that's what it means.

Puttin' recordings on a bracelet would be like some secret agent shit or somethin'.

Ooooh, that would be so cool! But it doesn't seem like we're here to be secret agents or anything.
