There was....a triple flashing star, a comet, a ringed gas giant....

[Yup, Kara has found some paints and is still trying to figure out this direction to Earth thing. Even in Asgard. She can't help that desire, that pull and determination to get there. To lead the fleet there, in spite of most of them not believing her, assuming her to be a Cylon.

Her paintings rather do resemble Jupiter. For those that know, they could easily assume that to be the 'ringed gas giant' she mentions. Or Saturn, less large but definitely ringed.

She keeps going, some of the red paint dripping onto her cheek as she paints her ceiling of her room, biting her lip and apparently not noticing that while painting and wiping some from her wrist that she bumped the bracelet in the process. The video is looking down at her and her bed, at the papers and sketches and paints surrounding her.]

There has to be some way to figure it out. But how the frak can I find Earth when I can't feel it from here, like I could back home?

[She goes to wipe at her cheek, rest staining her hand when she withdraws it and notices the bracelet. Her green eyes widen before she frowns at it, giving everyone a good view of her paint streaked cheek as she goes to turn it off.]

Oh for frak's sake, this stupid thing.....

[There's something of a pout at her lips for a moment at the question. Surely of all people, he would understand. The one she has confided in so much. But she keeps painting, ignoring the paint on her, her clothes and blankets.]

Yeah. Course. We've been working on finding Earth for years. No reason to stop now that I can...I can feel it. Like a calling, a pull. Or, I could back home. But they wouldn't listen. Every jump, every second it felt like we were getting farther and farther away....

But the old man gave me a ship, told me to do what I need to. Not that that ended up too successful but. If we found the place where the Thirteenth Tribe went to, we can find Earth. I just have to get them there.

Kara, you're back? And those are lovely is that what they call "space"?

[She remembers Turlough explaining this.]

I am. And....yeah. It's what I remember of finding Earth. I'm still trying to help the fleet find their way there. You know, all those stars out there? There are a lot of planets and solar systems and universes out there. That's why it is taking us so long. Unless we had the proper co-ordinates to get there.

I didn't realize the night sky was that vast. Someone has told me about traveling through it and he spoke of those stars. Is all of it that colorful?

[Sonya was at the library when her bracelet went off. For a moment, she tries to ignore it, then she catches sight of the paintings and what the woman says and she finds herself unable to ignore it.]

Ringed gas planet, do you mean Saturn. [that was her first guess anyway.] And yes, the bracelets are that sensitive.

It's huge. Probably bigger than you imagine. The Doctor, was it? But yeah, it can be pretty colourful at times. I remember--I remember this mandala. It was all...blue and red and yellow. I mean, maybe not quite as bright as my paints, but I'm making do here.

[Kara tries to explain, continuing painting even as she gets some dripping down on her. On her bed and sheets.]

Saturn? Or maybe it was...Jupiter? I'm not sure. Either way, it's....closer to Earth. Where we need to get to.

I didn't even mean to bump it. Must have been when I was wiping at some of the paint on my arm.

[Kara mumbles, still painting, blinking as some more red gets near her eye, dripping down her cheek.]

[Oh, look who's there.]

Kara, nice to see you around again... I've missed getting drunk with you.

Aw. That was almost sweet, Anders. I take it you've been getting drunk without me lately. We can fix that.

[Not that he doesn't notice something is definitely wrong. He figures she'll spill on her own time so he doesn't ask.]

Saturn's more rings than Jupiter, but they're right next to eachother as far as orbits go. [She's more focused on the paintings than Kara at the moment.].

You did put a lot of effort into the paintings. I heard you saying that you feel Earth back home-are you trying to recall how to get there?

You do realize how many suns and solar systems there are in the universe, right? I'm just....trying to narrow it down. It's a frakking long way from the Colonies, okay? I just--have this feeling. I've been there before and it's...I know, this is going to sound crazy, but it's like it was calling me back there. And I need to find it again. To lead the fleet back there. I told you the Colonies are frakked. So we need to find somewhere else. Earth.

Where do you want me to start? I found Earth. But everyone thought I was dead. Assume that I'm a skin job. A Cylon. Turns out when I thought I found Earth and all, I actually did die, chasing that Raider in the mandala. I found it. The viper and my...body. Cremated it.

[A lot heavier than Anders likely intended but. Kara isn't going to lie about it if people ask what happened. It's just. Not necessarily something she wants as public knowledge. Not yet anyway. It's still something she is trying to come to terms with and figure out herself. What it means, exactly.]

Where I'm from we haven't gotten that far yet. Not really. Guess technology's on your side. Wish I could do more to help.

Yeah. I know there probably isn't a lot we can do from here. Even me, really. But still, I have to try and keep working at it. If I can figure out the co-ordinates somehow or something. But you're right. With FTL we should manage it. Provided we have enough fuel.

Saturn? Maybe that is it. I wouldn't know. I just, I have to find it. I need to remember how to get back and I didn't use NAV fixes or coordinates at the time.

All of us are stuck here and trying to find ways home.

Did you find a way back last time, then? [She studies the screen a moment, looking at the paintings. You're painting the entire solar system?

That paint is oil, isn't it?

[She's starting to get an itch to do her own.]

I think it was one of his companions -- Turlough was his name as I recall. He told me how he traveled with him through space and time inside of the TARDIS. Although she's not so much a box but a person.

I know we are. But apparently we don't get any say in that. Just...whenever the gods feel like it or whenever we finish this war, apparently.

I found my way back to the fleet, yeah. Somehow. Think I blacked out partway, I'm just trying to get down what I remember. Think the flashing triple star was a Cylon Basestar though.

Turlough? Not sure if I've met him or not. But yeah it sounds about right. And I'm aware here she is apparently a woman, somehow.

I do. If you use mineral thinner with paint, it tends to thin it out and it'll drip less!

[A woman indeed. She does get a small, sheepish smile. She's fond of the TARDIS already.]
