[Despite the most recent events, Inara's offering a small smile as the feed starts. She's sitting on the settee in her room, her hands clasped together on her lap.]

I have been horribly remiss in regards to the network lately and for that I do apologize. I know there are many new faces in the city and I'd just like to introduce myself. I'm Inara Serra and having been here a while, I don't mind answering questions anyone might have.

[She'd welcome them to the city but finds that terribly rude.]

I know I cannot make this whole ordeal any better, but if anyone wishes for a few moments of quiet over tea, that is something I offer.

[Inara blinks, she hadn't been expecting Alice to be back to being young. She really needed to keep in touch with her friends.]

Alice, you're back to normal.

[Obviously.]

But how about we have a picnic with tea and cookies at the park. Combine the two.

Well, I don't think I'd use the word: normal, Miss Inara.

[Alice cannot, nor never will, be normal.]

But I'm back to being seven!

Oh! That sounds absolutely splendid. It will be the two of us, yes? Would you still like me to bring my violin?

Catching up sounds like something we ought to do, yeah.

[There's a lopsided grin, followed by a soft laugh. She's sitting out at the park, close to the stables. There's one of the horses at her side, as she's taken a pause in walking it around on its lead. The animal nudges at her shoulder in an attempt to get her moving again and she chuckles, bringing a hand up to pat at its head.]

I'm a bit occupied right now, as you can see, but later? Think we should abandon our usual tea and go for some local food, maybe?

I understand. [She watches the horse, amused by its actions.]

And we can do local food. When would be a good time for you?

Oh, any time works. I've just got a short shift at the Doctor's bookstore tonight, and I can always tell him I'm leaving early.

[The horse neighs, and Clara's eyes squint as she turns to glance back at it.]

You don't mind horses, do you? If you wanted to meet up at the stables, I might just let him know I'm not coming in at all.

[She makes the best employee and bff. Really.]

Sadly they were all made by someone who is no longer here. [She thinks for a moment.] Though I do need more made, so I can ask around and let you know what I find, if you'd like.
