Hello, Travellers. I could use some help, and I've got a few things to offer. 1.) I've been making some salves and ointments in my free time. I have ones for muscle pain, burns, and one that's a mild antibacterial for use on small cuts. If anyone is interested in them, I'd be willing to sell them for a small price. Any medics or people in Sigyn with growth who would be willing to grow me some plants would get a discount. 2.) Speaking of medics, if there are any interested in learning self-defense techniques specifically geared towards medics, please let me know. I would be happy to pass on my skills. 3.) I'm looking for a job. I'd like it if I could find one that would use my medical skills, but if that's impossible I've also got experience helping in an office. 4.) What would you say are the good points about living in the district you do? What are the not so good things?

What's funny about that? There was a girl at Xavier's named Jubilation. Not her mutant name, her human name. A flower's nothing compared to that.

My hair is the same color as cherry blossoms. And my surname means spring field.

It's not backwards, that's how everyone does it in my world. Family and clan names are important.

Weird. We even call them first names.

Not that it matters to most mutants once we've got our own names. So basically the opposite.

Interesting. Clans, family, and village associations are a big deal where I come from. I admittedly don't know the ins and outs of shinobi clans but I have friends from a few of them.

You wouldn't get it unless you were one of us.

Almost all the kids at Xavier's are runaways or got kicked out of their houses, and most of the ones that aren't have to lie to their parents to get there. It's a boarding school for a reason. Kids escape there because they're not welcome at home once their parents find out what they are.

That sounds like a milder version of what happened to some people with kekkei genkai in other village back home.

Milder, huh. Fill me in, then, what's that?

Kekkei genkai are a little like your mutations. There's a quirk in a person's DNA that allows them certain abilities, usually to do with chakra. They're passed down parent to child and so clans with them tend to be known for them. But after there was a period of time where people weren't too big on them--they were scared of the power it granted the user. So they killed people who were born with them. It didn't happen everywhere, but it happened enough in certain places that it was notable.

They tried to get all of us in one hit just before I got here. Telepathic genocide, using one of our own against us. So yeah, doesn't surprise me.

No, I'm not talking about black fire. At least not entirely. Sasuke's got a kekkei genkai that the black fire is a part of, but it's not the whole thing.

That shit burned other fire.

So what's the whole thing?

It's pretty impressive. But don't tell him I said that. It's called the Sharingan. I don't know all of what it can do--I'm pretty sure that was a clan secret--but the basics of it are it's a kekkei genkai that manifests in the eyes. It allows the user to see through illusions and copy other people's techniques. And apparently there's different stages to it that allow things like the black fire to happen. My sensei has one too and he can use it to send things to another dimension, though it takes a lot out of him.

See through illusions. That'd be pretty damn handy in my world.

We've got telepaths and teleporters, but that's as close as I've heard to anything like that. Never mind all at once.
