two glyphs // text // day 405
First, please allow me to extend my sympathies to those who were injured while remaining within Asgard these last few days.
For those who made the journey to Ginnungagap, I wish to solicit any reactions or discoveries from the trip. While I found it a disappointing trek in some regards, it is possible other Travelers saw more productive results.
As regards my own thoughts on the matter: I'm sorry to say that if any notable artifacts remained within the site, I was unable to locate them, and of course, we did not have the tools necessary for a proper excavation. Speaking of which, if anyone reading has background in archaeology or related disciplines, I entreat you to contact me. I should like to investigate the possibility of organizing an archaeological team for future journeys, but I sincerely doubt the majority of the population will be convinced to read Sirs Petrie or Maspero in preparation for the task. Any such team would need more field experience than I alone can provide. [Especially since her legitimate, on-the-books field experience is rather paltry.]
Finally, for those students enrolled in my Latin and ancient Greek courses: Please be advised that, beginning this week, Mr. Kyle Booth will be assisting with marking assignments and class lectures. I expect that you will all show him the respect his not insignificant skill for these languages deserves; our studies will no doubt be enriched by his presence and knowledge.

I'm yosuke hanamura, third year
well back home anyways
you said just reactions were fine right? cause that's all I got.
took a couple photos but there's nothing in those either
and i don't think i was the only one?
idk what you were hoping for is all.

Reactions are fine; photographs have the potential to be useful, too.
What does "idk" mean?

Anyway here you go.
if their potentially anything, id sure like to hear about it.
[He attaches a disorganised handful of photos. There's one of a little waterfall coming out of the cavern wall and one of the tip of someone's shoe in the mud, but for the most part they just look like badly-lit pictures of moss-covered rocks.]

[Also, how do you pronounce it is it "iddick" or some such nonsense.
The photos she's sent aren't necessarily very good, but considering that no one else has managed to come up with better, she thinks they're praise-worthy.]
Thank you for sharing these. Whether they come to anything particular or not, you might have been the only person to attempt to document what Ginnungagap looked like when we visited. That has the potential to be invaluable, particularly when one considers how difficult a place it was to reach.

but nah that cant be it
I know i saw other guys with sketches and stuff.
and i mean, literally just depressing rocks? even an ace detective couldn't get anything out of those
except depressed
Plus while we were out camping there was all the crap going down back here right??
Seriously wondering what was the point.

I'm glad to hear we'll have some other documentation of the journey. It would be a pity to spend the time and energy to go there, only to return with nothing more than memories.
You raise an interesting point. Our presence in Ginnungagap served little purpose, particularly since chaos ran rampant while we were away. One wonders if the timing was mere coincidence.

[There are a few people Yosuke has been less than understanding towards in his life, so at least she's in good company.]
yeah and that old book showing up so that one dude could pitch a fit about it, that was a coincidence too
but just wondering doesn't help any1 if we got no other clues

I'm afraid I'm not sure which book and 'dude' you mean. [A 'dude' is some bit of American slang, isn't it? Maybe?]
And that is the purpose of inquiring on the network, the possibility of clues we aren't currently aware we have. It doesn't seem to be the case, but I think we'd be remiss if we didn't check.

U know, the reason everyone got all up in arms about that creepyass city to begin with?
wonder what happened to him come to think
But yeah.
too bad we don't know what a missing clue would look like
or if we were looking in the right place
or what we were even looking for
