[ And the dog huffs out a noise, almost as though frustrated, before he trots back to curl up out of sight. ]

Speaking of... [ Her expression turns a little sour and her eyebrow lifts a little as she peers into the camera. ] Has anyone seen my dear friend Anders? There's a few words I'd like to have with him. Otherwise -

[ A smirk, hiding the frustration and anger she's feeling. ]

[There is a literal 'smacking' sound as her forehead is hammered by an open palm. Samantha was running her fingers over her face.]

I know the type. Was he trying to do everyone a favor, or was he trying to just prove he was better than everyone else?

He was trying to defend the rights of mages. He wanted there to be 'no compromise'.

Yeah, that'll make it so there's no compromise usually... In the worst possible way. [She groaned, rubbing her forehead.] That's the worst kind of the two. The others, you just have an immediate excuse to kick their ass. Hell, it's fun, outside of the fact that innocents just got hurt or killed.

It's the ones with causes that are hard. They're a lot harder to reason with.

The cause is just. The way he went about it? Not so. I was fighting for him and he caused everything to go to hell, literally.

[ She rubs the back of her neck, breathing out hard. It hurts, the betrayal, still so fresh in her mind. ]

[ The dog barks and she grins, looking the opposite of happy. ]

[ She breathes out, soothing herself by patting her dog. ]

I'll leave him behind, don't worry. He has to guard Fenris and Alistair Jr.
