You know, if you're going send a lady home and then bring her back again you could make it a little nicer for her. Maybe try and keep things the same? Just a small request from yours truly. At least I have Bee now - though I think he's going to have to take a little time to get used to Fenris.

[ And, from behind her, there's a sharp, loud bark as something comes and nudges at her feet - a rather large dog, nuzzling at her hand and distrupting the video feed for a moment. Hawke rolls her eyes before she shifts down - you might be able to see a nug behind her, if you squint. ]

Bee, we can go and get him soon. Go and settle, okay?

[ And the dog huffs out a noise, almost as though frustrated, before he trots back to curl up out of sight. ]

Speaking of... [ Her expression turns a little sour and her eyebrow lifts a little as she peers into the camera. ] Has anyone seen my dear friend Anders? There's a few words I'd like to have with him. Otherwise - 

[ A smirk, hiding the frustration and anger she's feeling. ]

[Elizabeth is about to say something about Hawke's dog before she's interrupted by Jack popping his little head into view, barking.]

[ Bee lights up, instantly nudging his way onto Hawke's lap and trying to hear where the voice is coming from. ]

It's just another dog, Bee, Maker help us --

[unchain]

Ehe, I'm sorry. Jack's really eager to make friends.

[espouses]

Oh, that's alright. Bee hasn't exactly had many chances to make friends before.

[unchain]

What a cute name. [Elizabeth leans into the feed to wave, wearing oven mitts.]

Hello, Bee! I'm Elizabeth & this is Jack. He'll grow up to be a big dog like you one day. [as if on cue, the little pup gives a few little happy yaps.]

[espouses]

[ Bee growls, tilting his head and nudging at the camera before he yaps, excited. ]

Come on, Bee, calm down. You can go and see him soon.

[ Hawke shrugs. ]

He likes friends.

[unchain]

Sorry, he's very fond of the limelight. [she tries to get the pit to settle down.] Come on, Jack. If you behave, you guys can play together later, okay?

[Elizabeth pulls out a ball.] Look, do you want to play with Peeta's present? [Jack's attention is immediately brought to the ball & barks a few times once she sets it on the floor for him to tackle & chew on.]

[espouses]

[ Hawke snorts, watching as Bee tilts his head in confusion. ]

He's used to chasing after people, not balls. Perhaps we can teach him some new tricks.

[unchain]

Chasing people? Is he some sort of guard dog?

[she leans down to give Jack's ears a little pet.] That's what Jack's supposed to grow up to be. That's what Booker wanted.

[espouses]

He's a war dog. Bred for killing men and defeating Darkspawn.

[ Bee lifts his head, looking proud as Hawke scratches behind his ears. ]

I suppose he is my guard dog too, though. Maker help anyone that tries to hurt me when he's around.

[unchain]

Darkspawn.... [this isn't the first Elizabeth's heard of that. she remembers Alistair mentioning it before. she misses Alistair.]

There are dogs that could fight those things? They must be incredibly strong.

[espouses]

Strong, ferocious and more loyal than you can possibly imagine.

[ Bee is practically preening, his tail wagging and a sharp 'yip' making Hawke laugh. ]

Handsome, too.

[unchain]

Well he certainly is handsome.

[she grins at Bee though the sound coming from the other dog gets a bark out of Jack.]

[espouses]

[ The hound visibly preens, lifting his head while Hawke grins. ]

Intelligent, too, though modesty is not his forte.
