[ she'd been putting on her makeup, last she could recall - that, in and of itself, was a luxury considering the excitement of the last few months. it seemed like all she'd had to do was blink and her comfortable safehouse had disappeared, replaced by some sort of strange manor ballroom, with her sitting in the middle of a rug, hand still raised to apply another brush of eyeshadow.
irene adler was still considering what had happened next, turning it over in her brain again and again as she was finally released from what she now knew what was a castle. rather than cause a fuss immediately, it seemed almost safer to keep her head down and test things on her own; like this supposed new 'power' that she had. ordinarily, she was one to keep both feet nailed to the ground...
but given what had just happened, anything seemed possible, if not probable. it would be an elaborate ruse, and even mycroft holmes wasn't that good. he couldn't make people vanish (at least, not in this sense) and appear in a completely new location within the span of a second.
she managed to work her bracelet with relative ease, brushing a finger over the stone inset in it; from her god house? if that was truly what it was? giving the guide a quick skim, she could make a few assumptions.
1. this place was based upon norse mythology.
2. chances of the people in charge being sane were very limited.
well, it was time to jump in, wasn't it?
making certain that the video function was OFF (she didn't need to worry about that introduction, not yet), she fiddled with her settings a bit more, finding a bench to settle herself on. then, carefully, she typed: ]

Saving the world(s) through feelings? It's all very touchy-feely and..
Not very me, I'm afraid.
I'd like it if someone could tell me what on earth is happening.
Go on. Impress a girl.

jamie moriarty's mind makes sense of it in a moment. she had already accepted the multiple sherlocks, the male watson, jim moriarty. she had accepted them all without a fuss and without a blink but this. this is interesting.
because if she's right (and so rarely is she ever wrong), then there are two options. One, there is another female moriarty and she is using the same fantasy jamie once build for sherlock holmes. the other, there is an irene adler and if there is, well. if there is, then she is an artwork come to life, a Madonna who walked out of her painting to walk in empty museum halls.

Initials as signature. He's come to connect that to people connected with Sherlock, and that along with the way this is written is just so. Familiar. IA. Could it be? They seem to be showing up now, after all. People of realities with Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock himself, two Moriarty ...
Could it be?
Let's try to throw a bait. Or. Something. This isn't really his forte. He should just leave this to Sherlock, but then, Sherlock would probably know if this was really Irene or not without double checking.
He's not sure if he wants this to really be Irene or not. ]

Why would anyone be interested in impressing someone they don't know? A wasted effort, I'd think.

In my experience, everyone loves a good chance to show off.

And there you sit, demanding to be impressed and offer nothing in return.
Do you expect to gather correct information this way?
anon text.
I can offer much in return .. at a later date.
I find it best not to have expectations, this early in the game.

Irene Adler. You are, incidentally, one of six people in the city with their first initial being an 'I', but the only one with the latter initial being an 'A'. That said, your 'introduction' leaves much to be desired.

Mr. Sherlock Holmes - though, regretfully, not the one with the silly hat. I was told there were two; I didn't count on meeting you quite so soon.
Does it really? Should I have written poetry, composed a serenade?
