[The image is shaky for a moment, blurred dark hair cut so precisely and a quick glimpse of violet before – ah. Yomi peers down into the bracelet’s stone, blinking, and then smiles.]

I guess I’m still not used to it. [Out of sight, there’s a slight scrape of metal against stone.] I’m Yomi Isayama – I don’t think I’ve spoken to many people yet. I guess since we’re all stuck here, making a friend or two won’t be such a bad thing.

A few days ago, I didn’t even really believe in gods. Weird how things change, huh. [For a moment, her gaze is faraway.

Yomi chuckles a little self-consciously, pushing back some of her hair.] Sorry, does anyone know a girl called Kagura? [No last name, no description. She’s playing it close to the vest.]

[ Nanako is still a little shy about this whole deal - what is dealing with strangers, really - but she's trying her best!! Look at that thin nervous smile.. ]

[And Yomi's heart grew three sizes larger that day.]

Of course. Much better. [She smiles, warm and easy.] You look pretty young. Is anyone looking after you?

[ Nanako is busy bringing the moe into Asgard. ]

I-I'm not that young. I'm already seven.. [ she pouts a little, as if this is clearly a grave mistake. ] But it's okay. I'm here with big bro, and some of his friends too!

[Yomi doesn't turn a hair.]

Oh, your brother's with you? You're really lucky. You should keep close to him, okay?

Uh-huh, I will. [ nodnod. ] ... Big bro's not my real brother, though.. He's my cousin. But he's still my big bro!

Sounds like you like him a lot, [said gently.] I never had any cousins or brothers growing up, not until I was adopted.

Yes, I like him a whole lot! He's really great, and he can do a lot of things, like really cool magic tricks! [ the enthusiasm is audible. ]

Huh? You were.. adopted?

Magic tricks, huh? Can you do any?

[Yomi's smile shifts subtly.]

Yeah. A really kind man took me in when I was just a child and made me part of his family.

Not yet.. B-but maybe I should ask big bro to teach me some? [ She puts a finger to her cheek, pondering this. ] Then I could show them to everyone..

That's.. really nice of that man, to do that for you..! But don't you ever miss your real parents..?

That could be fun. I'd love to see a magic show.

[Yomi hums a little, considering. Or, rather, feigning consideration.]

Naraku is my real parent. That's how I feel, anyway.

Maybe there can be a really big magic show here for everyone to see! I'm sure everyone would have fun!

... That's good then. I know that family isn't all about having the same blood! [ she nods. ] You just need to feel like a family.

If you put on a magic show, let me know, okay? I'll come see.

[She nods, mirroring.]

So what about your family? Is it just you and your brother?

Uh-huh, I will! You can sit on the front row, since you cheered me on!

N-no, of course not! There's dad too, even if he's often busy with work.. but he's really nice!

Front row it is.

Yeah? What does he do?

He's with the police! Um, that means.. he gets to arrest the bad people so they won't hurt anyone else and all.

... Yeah. Especially since he always works so hard..

I know how hard can it be. But - what he's doing, it's good work. And you have a brother now, right?

Yeah. So.. if I'm home alone, big bro is usually home too now.. So I'm not alone anymore.

Uh-huh, it's when he showed me some of his magic tricks! [ nodnod, she seems rather excited over it still. ]

And sometimes he helps me with homework.. or we watch tv together!
