[ Allison didn't know Primrose, she doesn't think (it's not a common name, so she's pretty sure she'd remember it) but that doesn't change the fact that she looks a little concerned about Gale's loss. ]

I'm sorry. It's never hard losing people here, even if it'd probably better that they're home again. [ That's what she keeps trying to tell herself in regard to Lydia being sent home again. ]

[He wishes he could tell himself that, except, he knows what is waiting for Prim at home. She has not even survived the bombing in her timeline yet. His heart is aching for her.]

[ it's something about gale that jo has noticed, that jo loves. the fact that when she comes up to him, tries to comfort him, he doesn't lean away from her. for too long she's always been trying to comfort people who don't want to be comforted, worked around people who would rather deny the fact they're hurting than anything else.

and when gale turns towards her, presses his forehead against her's, she's internal so grateful. so glad that she can still set her hands on his shoulders. ]

You can't blame yourself for that. The city sends people home all the time. [ she's quiet for a moment, before squeezing his shoulders. ] I'm sorry.

[Inara had never met Primrose, but she does know what it's like to have people come and go.]

[Though it's phrased as a question, Annie clearly isn't making this optional. She's determined to take care of Gale, whether or not he admits he needs the help. They may all have more experience with loss than they should, but that doesn't ever make it easier.]

[It is not a moment in which he can smile, however, Gale does feel that faint lightening in his soul that came with having friends that you knew you could count on.]

I will Annie, I give my word. Keep an eye on Katniss, she is going to take this hard and I don't live with her.

Of course. Katniss and you and the others, you're like family. Whatever I can do, I will.
