( VIDEO )

[she & Booker discussed her learning how to properly fight & use a weapon on the train back from Alfheim & the more Elizabeth thought about it, the more she realizes that it's something she needs to do sooner rather than later.]

I'd like to ask a favor. [her bracelet is set on her dresser & on her face is a look of concern as she pets a sleeping Jack on her lap.] I want to be more useful in the upcoming battles, so I'd like to learn how to properly fight. If it's not too much trouble, would someone be able to give me some lessons? I'd be willing to learn anything you'd be able to teach me.

I can teach you some things, but you'll likely find a better instructor in others. I have a very ... abrupt style. Not suited to the battlefield most likely. [Joan didn't like it, at any rate.]

Not in the way that many others are capable, but yes, I do. There are times in my line of work when I must get physical with the person causing the crime, so to speak.

A mixture of both. Engaging with others in the matter can help, but it's been some time since I had a teacher of my own.

I'm hardly a warrior, Elizabeth.

I shall have to do a demonstration sometime for your amusement, then. If I need to prove my competence, anyway. Which I do not.
