Ahem. [Does she have your attention now? Yes? Good.] I hope people are still hungry, after being away to fight for so long, 'cause I made some food to share with everybody!

[Rue proudly shows off the mac and cheese and spiced chicken meatballs...which are both sort of messily plated, but they taste better than they look, honest!]

Back home, sharing food is really important after coming back from a long day at work. It's the same for war, right? I just wanted to do this now for everybody who went to the elves' kingdom because... [Shifty eyes. Hopefully Katniss and the others don't catch on to this too quickly.] I'm going with you next time. But I have to find somebody to teach me how to fight first.

Um, anyways! I'm gonna be at the park. There's some benches and tables we can use to eat if you want some of the food. You should bring some easy recipes for me to try if you have any, too!

Because somebody promised they would teach me how to make PB&J sandwiches. [Yes, she's looking at you, Stiles.]

[He arrives shortly, carrying the drink bottles in a plastic bag. He lets out an impressed whistle when he sees all the food.]

Hi, Rue. [That’s what the bracelet said. He nods at the birds.] Friends of yours?

[Mikazuki as his own bird companion, Mu the crow, sitting on his head and looking as stoic as ever.]

Yup! My friend drew them for me a long time ago. [Her eyes seem to dart straight to the bird on his head.] What about him?

[crowover]

Her, not him.

[He looks up, giving the crow an affectionate look.]

Her name’s Mu and she’s a friend from home.

[airborn]

She. [Rue accepts the correction, looking at the bird with interest.]

So she wasn’t drawn, she’s from your world. I didn’t know they could follow us here.

[crowover]

[Mu returns the look, but it's hard to tell what she's thinking.]

And I didn't know you can draw animals like that. I'm glad she came with me, I've known her for a while and it'd be really weird without her.

[Reaaaaching up, like she wants to teach Mu.]

It's one of the powers you can get here. Drawing Life. I guess it doesn't matter if you find someone with it, since you already have a friend.

That’s a very useful power - uh-oh!

[Mu isn’t too keen on being touched, and flutters politely out of reach. Mikazuki gives Rue an apologetic grin.]

Sorry, she just isn’t used to other people touching her.
