Ahem. [Does she have your attention now? Yes? Good.] I hope people are still hungry, after being away to fight for so long, 'cause I made some food to share with everybody!

[Rue proudly shows off the mac and cheese and spiced chicken meatballs...which are both sort of messily plated, but they taste better than they look, honest!]

Back home, sharing food is really important after coming back from a long day at work. It's the same for war, right? I just wanted to do this now for everybody who went to the elves' kingdom because... [Shifty eyes. Hopefully Katniss and the others don't catch on to this too quickly.] I'm going with you next time. But I have to find somebody to teach me how to fight first.

Um, anyways! I'm gonna be at the park. There's some benches and tables we can use to eat if you want some of the food. You should bring some easy recipes for me to try if you have any, too!

Because somebody promised they would teach me how to make PB&J sandwiches. [Yes, she's looking at you, Stiles.]

[And when Sif finally does find the place, Rue will be crouched on the ground, feeding her little birds bits of meatball and crackers she'd brought along with her.]

[AN ETERNITY (under half an hour) later, Sif does find the group sharing a meal together, and hunger takes over a little but she controls it. Enough to crouch down next to the young lady who invited her in the first place.]

They would like worms better.

Maybe. The ones back home liked fruit, too.

[She lets one of the mockingjays perch on her finger.]

These ones are drawn from the god power, so I think they eat anything.

Drawn from the god power? [Yet another piece of information that draws Sif's attention to her need to learn more of the gods ruling this place - gods, are they, not just people with long lives and more power from Yggdrasil? Pf.]

They must be hungry gods.

Um, yeah. It’s one of the Freyr house powers. Drawing Life. [She lifts her hand quickly, sending the bird off to join its flockmates.] You can bring the things you draw to life, like these birds.

One of my friends made them for me before she left.

Heimdall is the purple house! [She just remembers the districts and gods by their colors. It's easier that way.]
