This place again.
[When Max comes into view on the screen it's clear that she's sitting on her bed in the Freya house and is worn out from the trip back. The same old song and dance. Creepy maids, and stereotypical housing placements.]
Huh. Looks different. Show of hands, who's still here that remembers me?
[There had to be someone. Maybe if they replied she'd feel less alone. After everything with Logan, and Ben, and the rest of her siblings she's been feeling worse than ever and coming down from what she thought was a bad dream didn't help.]
And can I get a run down on the recent events? Nothing too lengthy. Use bullet points if you have to.
[Max reaches up and pushes her curly hair back across her forehead. She's not going to say more than she has to. Networking isn't an area of strength for her. So she might as well kill two birds with one stone.]
I also need a job. I'm not gonna be left in a lurch like last time. Give me an offer and I'll let you know if I can swing it. And if you're not the one that's hiring specifically, point me in the direction of who you know that is.

The Citadel is solely for adults wishing to brush up on or learn combat skills.
Like what? Normal covers quite a bit.

[Voice]
Thanks. You think I could sneak a peek?
[Voice]
I wouldn't mention the journal if I didn't mean you could sneak a peek.

Did you lose your bracelet and kiiiiiiiind of... get lost in the city until someone gave it back to you?
[From the wording, she's guessing no-- but that's what happened to her and she's kind of weirded out by it, so she's curious about others who have had "disappearing" experiences.]
[audio]
Wait- what happens when you lose your bracelet?

Since I got here, we've had an earthquake that damaged a bunch of places, then there was a fire in Alfheim that was so big it snowed ash for days because the fire giants were burning everything to the ground, then we got refugees from Alfheim, a lot of us decided to help them out and went there and fought off the giants. After that, people started rebuilding.
That's about it.

You mind telling me how long you've been here exactly? That'll give me a better idea of time frames.

[Which, in retrospect, seems like a very short time for all this to happen.]
