3rd Memory [Video]

[Some of you may or may not know, but Ritsuka is a very awkward boy. His tail is swishing back and forth while his ears are pressed back. He doesn't want his friends and family to see this but the likelihood is, they will.]

So... if you... didn't get Christmas gifts for anyone because you thought you'd be alone on the holiday... and then suddenly all your friends and family showed up...

Would you... get them late gifts or just make it up to them on different dates?

[Because he's actually never BEEN in this situation, Asgard, and he's not sure if there's some sort of protocall. None of his friends or family would actually care about the lateness if he got gifts at all, but he doesn't know if he should do this.]

... good stout clothes would make me happy. Remind me not to get gifts from you. [Said with a little smirk.] But, like I said, I'm not a good person to ask. I'm pagan, so I don't celebrate Christmas.

To me... if they're your friends and you want to buy them gifts, then that's obvious isn't it?

I wouldn't give a gift to you. We aren't friends.

The issue isn't the buying, it's the when to give them.

Heh, well honestly? I would get them something if I wanted to, and no matter what, it sounds like you want to get them something.

It sounds like it because I do... I don't... really give out gifts to a lot of people, I just... [He frowns, wait, why is he telling this girl this? He sighs.] They only just arrived, I'm just trying to let them adjust, I guess.

Then do it, hairball. You want to. It's written all over the words. Stop worrying about if it's ok and do it. You'll feel better.

Ritsuka. I know you lack any sort of intelligence for a memory that's longer than a day but as I have a name, I would appreciate it if you used it. Not kitty, not hairball, not furball, not kitten, not anything else you think is even remotely clever but is in fact idiotic and pathetic.

Sure thing k... Ritsuka. [She did that on purpose.] Has anyone ever told you that you're fun to tease and sound cute when you're angry?

[Not that she really cares, but it seems like the perfect way to tease him right now.]

So you [And Natsuo, Youji, Soubi, Seimei, Nisei, and just about everyone he knows keeps on insisting.] keep saying. I'm not sure I want to be seen cute in your eyes.

[She snickered and pitched her rasp to an nasty little tone as she continued. It was time to screw with him some more.]

How would you rather be seen? Desirable?

[He was actually a little young for her, instincts aside as what was basically a human with cat ears went... but tormenting him was fun, so why not see how he reacted?]

[She can't see his tail frizz and his eyes narrow. But as he has Soubi, Youji, and Natsuo as constant flirting in his life, it's not that strange to him.]

I'm loveless, that's not possible.

[There, let her derive whatever meaning she wants from that.]

Huh, well, fair enough. [Yeah, that one kind of steals the thunder from her attempts at a joke.] Either way... just get your gifts, alright?

[Aoyagi Ritsuka, professional killjoy.] Er... yeah... thanks... I guess...
