I would like to learn how to cook. If there is anyone willing to teach, I would really appreciate it! [the girl's never cooked a day in her life thanks to living in that damn tower & now that she has a reason to do it & the freedom to do so, she is eager to learn.]

Unfortunately I'm starting from scratch. I don't have any experience, even with the basics... [said with a light blush & a sheepish smile.] But I promise I'm a quick learner. [that she can promise.]

I could help you learn if you like. Er, admittedly I'm a little more used to different methods than what we have in the hall, but I've been teaching myself how to use everything.

[It's been a slow and painful process but worth the efforts, but his grandfather always said you don't learn by not trying, and that's something Hiccup's taken in.]

So, er, basics...I could teach you how to boil water for broth?
