[All things considered, this is really, really not the right time to be asking this question. A lot of things have happened in the last few days that have left him completely rattled, but if there's one thing Draco Malfoy is good at, it's compartmentalizing.

As such, despite the fact that he has Voldemort on his case, Severus is freaking out and there's the whole other set of issues with himself and Jade and the fact that people from home keep turning up, he's focused on something else entirely.

Loki. The god, not the traveler. On the one hand, he quite likes the trickster god if only because he can appreciate someone being cagey and taunting others. On the other hand, he really hates when it's being used against him. The god has given him a mission, and though he should be worried about other things that is his main focus.

…of course there were some things that were said during their conversation that have left him unsettled. Did he really not know how to have fun in this place anymore?

Then what is the point of a city? Sincere question.

Cities are build for lilim to live as a community, for them to share experiences and lives and to grow together, individually and as one. I am not part of the Lilim society nor I am important individually. That's why it's alright to be alone and not to share my time with others.

Sometimes I wait for you to change your answer and then I realize that day will never come. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

I have changed it, actually. It's still complicated for me to comprehend it all, though.

It's the way my kind is. But yours needs that doubt in order to grow, change and better yourselves.

It's something that is inherent to you. You do it for various reasons, and sometimes you don't realize it. But above all, you do it in order to erase your pain. No one wishes to feel pain and you always will. So, you shape yourself or the environment around you so you won't feel it.

...I've always found it rather interesting how you understand the human race better than human understand themselves. Perhaps you ought to teach the rest of us.

Teach? I have to wonder. Many feel offended with certain things I say and there is much I still do not understand about you. But still, I'm certain humans will eventually understand themselves and others. That's why I love you.
