Anyone else get that lightheaded lack of equilibrium kind of tilt o whirl feeling when the gods decide to yo yo them back to real time for a little while?
The time line discrepancies are the least of my worries right now
Whatd I miss?
[Private: Sam and Castiel (Separately)]
We need to talk
[Private: Nat, Charlie, and Jo (Separately)]
Hows my favorite girl?
[Private: Daphne Allen]
In case I didnt mention
Thanks for the magic touch after our trip to the paralleloverse
[Private: Katniss Everdeen]
Sorry I had to skip out on our routine Lets start back up this week if nothing else gets in the way
Hows the light weight treating you?

Glad to be back
Homes no picnic
At least Asgards predictable
text. private.
whenever you feel like talking
eh, I wouldn't say predictable
were you here when people were getting sucked into mirrors?
text. private.
I would
Its all pretty in line with itself
Something happens every month you can count on it
Yea
I was one of them
text. private.
your brother's better at that than I am
I'm just good at giving the alcohol and listening to the story
that 'something' can be a whole hell of a lot of different things, though
so you went home while everyone was over there?
lucked out that you came back here and not there, then
text. private.
Ive got the drinking part covered
I might take a few days off from the bar
Just to get my head on straight
And lucks not really routine for me
You know that
text. private.
the bar's not going anywhere
well it looks like you got some of it now
you just take care of yourself, okay?
text. private.
Ill try to be back at work as soon as possible
I just need a little time to let everything sink in
text. private.
I'm kidding, but really, there's no rush
I'll see you at home
text. private.
See you there
If you want I can have something ready for you when you get home from work
Maybe Asgard has something like pizza somewhere around here
Re: text. private.
or a burger, I haven't had a decent burger in months
text. private.
If you dont mind not asking questions on where it came from or why
I could pick some up and make something and you could give it a shot
text. private.
you know how to cook?
I mean yeah that'd be awesome
text. private.
Itll be ready for you when you get home
text. private.
just never knew that about you
sweet, I'll bring home a couple of beers
just for the occasion
text. private. (ooc: spam off this entry?)
Get here while theyre hot
And maybe we can discuss putting them on the roadhouse menu if you like it
text. private. (ooc: sure!)
I'm finishing up here but I'll be home soon
looks like you just got yourself a raise
offline.
Jo? That you?
[Who else would it be? Sam's still pissed, Cas has his own place, and she's the only other person with a key.]
Take a seat, I'll be out in a sec.

[ she's got a six-pack and a few little things she needed to bring back into her room from the bar. but then dean's telling her to take a seat and she sets the pack on top of the dining room table. ]
It smells amazing, by the way. [ she calls into the kitchen, pulling out two beers and opening them. ]
offline.
[He grabs the beer from her after she opens them and wets his whistle pretty damn quick. He still hadn't opened the Jim Beam. He was saving it for a rainy day. Or a rainier day anyway. He's got nothing but time since Sam's pissed and Cas isn't much happier.]
Pop a squat. Give me the full food critic.
offline.
[ she's kidding, of course, but it's punctuated with a smile and a small tilt of the neck of her bottle before taking a drink, sliding into one of the chairs. ]
You realize I'm going to be a little biased, right? [ in that she hasn't had a good burger since she can't remember. she looks excited, either way. ]
offline.
[Sure, it wasn't real beef and it was the best he could do with what Asgard had to offer but he was still pretty proud of it. He smiles and pops a squat next to her. He made one for himself too. Got enough for both of them. He doesn't bother commenting on the welcome home, because she's one of the few people that's not pissed at him and he doesn't feel like telling her why. He just gives her another grin before digging in.]
offline.
[ but she goes to work getting her's together, settling in to take her first bite. and when she does, her eyes go a little wide, looking over to him in shock before she finishes the bite, probably a little quicker than necessary. ]
Holy shit.
offline.
[Dean's head bobs with a nod. He makes it clear he's not surprised by how impressed she is. He knows. He's gotten the reaction before from a few others. It's nice to know he can take some Asgard fresh ingredients and make something good out of it for a change.]
How 'bout that menu option and the promotion that goes with it?
offline.
[ she goes in for another bite before the question can come out, and doesn't even mind making him wait for long enough for her to enjoy it. ]
Menu yes. Hell, you can make whatever you want and we'll put it on the menu. [ is she licking her fingers? probably. ] Promotion will depend on how many people buy and eat. But sure, why the hell not.
offline.
Thanks, Jo. You're the best. Go ahead and enjoy the rest of your burger. Then we'll talk about menu placement and price.
