Dàjiāhǎo. I know there have been a couple of these already but, I just wanted to make sure that everyone was okay. {Her eyebrows furrow and really, between the mirror thing and now with the earthquakes? It's all a bit much. She sighs.]

But regardless, it seems this city keeps bringing in newcomers. So to those of you who are new, huānyíng,, ah, welcome.

River, darling? Xīwàng rú cǐ.. [She really needs to get them a house so she can keep an eye on her young friend.]

[She reaches up, rubbing her forehead. She's tired and would actually like a break from all the city's craziness. But first, just a few more people to check in on.]

Alice? Jamie? Doc- Eleven? I am praying you are well also. [It looks like she might want to say more but for now, she's just going to leave it at that.]

[She quickly shook her head.]

I am many things, but a push-over is most certainly not one of them.

[That actually gives her pause. For all her ridiculousness, she actually seems to observe the woman speaking to her.]

Then an expert at placating someone. Why bother? For anyone? [There's a pause.] For me.

Why not? There's so much that goes on here... So much pain and anger. Why add to that?

But I suppose a big part of it is that a part of me needs to nurture those around me, make sure they aren't hurting or at least try and help them, even understand them.

Sounds like something a lot of people take advantage of.

[At least, Santana would take advantage of it—and in the past, she has in a number of scenarios.]

Perhaps. But could be there's a reason they would. And in time I'd hope that they'd realize it wasn't something they needed to do.

Well depending on how... difficult they're being. I am more than capable of tossing them out. Seven years of martial arts training does come in handy.

I've never been to Earth, it was always something we'd heard about in stories or read about in school.

But... You'll get back there someday.

Sounds depressing. Is it depressing?

You mean because I've never been to Earth? [She shakes her head.] No, no it's not. The planets we live on now are... for the most part, rather beautiful and resemble parts of Earth.

Only what you know about it. And it might not be accurate.
