Dàjiāhǎo. I know there have been a couple of these already but, I just wanted to make sure that everyone was okay. {Her eyebrows furrow and really, between the mirror thing and now with the earthquakes? It's all a bit much. She sighs.]

But regardless, it seems this city keeps bringing in newcomers. So to those of you who are new, huānyíng,, ah, welcome.

River, darling? Xīwàng rú cǐ.. [She really needs to get them a house so she can keep an eye on her young friend.]

[She reaches up, rubbing her forehead. She's tired and would actually like a break from all the city's craziness. But first, just a few more people to check in on.]

Alice? Jamie? Doc- Eleven? I am praying you are well also. [It looks like she might want to say more but for now, she's just going to leave it at that.]

[She rises to her feet, reaching for a shawl.]

I suppose I should ask if you'll be there if I come.

Depends on how quick you are.

[ Honestly, though, he won't go anywhere. ]

[She flashes him an slightly irritated look. She was concerned about him and he's giving her those types of answers? She was tired, needed a good long bath, something and he was...

[ But this is how he always pretends things are fine, Inara. ]

Yes. I get bored easily.

[She had been heading out of her room. Had being the keyword there. Slowly she shrugs off the shawl she had just wrapped around her shoulders.]

Then I suppose I needn't waste my time if there's a possibility that you might not be there.

[ No what are you doing stop that. ]

No! I mean-- Yes! You do!

[ Wait that's not right either. ]

I mean. I'm not. Actually going anywhere. I'm just joking.

[ There is a risk something shiny will come along and distract him but most likely not. He's seen the very most of things in Asgard, at least. ]

[Her eyebrows raise a little.]

It would serve you right if I just stayed here.

[She picked her shawl back up, draping it over her shoulders before heading out the door.]

But you're too nice for it.

[ Look at him refraining from saying she wants to see him too much not to go. ]

Hmmm sometimes I believe I might be entirely too nice.

[She's moving through Freya house and is soon walking out the main doors.

If Eleven is smart he'd be thinking of ways to make nice with her.]

Only when the time is right.

[ Like this moment, for example. Have mercy. ]

[She'll think about it. But she's hurrying through the districts and when she nears the park, she ends the feed.

She draws in a deep breath, soothing her hands over the front of her skirt and glances around for him.]

Eleven?

[ From the feed, he figured out which direction she was coming from, so he's made his way around and is coming up to her from behind, his hands in his pockets. ]

Could just say Doctor. None of the other mes are around.

[Inara turns and immediately steps toward him.]

I could call you a lot of things.

[And that's about as far as her annoyance with him goes because she's relieved to see him. Looking him over a couple of times, she nods and then she's moving in for a hug.]

I'm glad you're all right.

[ He opens his arms for it, closes them tight around her and spinning half a lap. ]

I'm glad you are too.

[She closes her eyes, arms wrapped tightly around him and she just takes the moment to breath him in. He was safe and he was there. That was all that truly mattered.

She drew back a little, her hands moving to cup his face between them.]

We're going to have to figure a way to keep me from over worrying about you.

Easy. There's no need to worry about me.

[ If only it was that simple.

He covers one of her hands with his and turns his head to kiss her palm. ]

Of course there is.

[And that really should be worrisome to her. Her eyebrows knit together but a soft smile pulls at the corners of her lips. She shouldn't be worrying about him and yet, she did. He had somehow managed to get past her walls and well.... She shook her head.]

But it's nice to see that it was needless worry.

[ Bops her nose. ]

Exactly what I said.

Though. [She takes a step back, eying him.]

It would help if you would let me know you're okay before I start worrying.

Call you, you mean?

Yes, call me once in a while. That would nice.

Right. Yes.

[ He points. ]

Can do that.

[She studied him for a moment, her expression hovering somewhere between earnest and very serious.]

DO you promise?

Cross my hearts.

[ He knows he doesn't have two right now, but he still makes crosses over both with his hands. They're there in spirit! ]

[She nods, placated for the moment.]

Good.

[She knows that it's pointless to worry about things in Asgard, something is always going on, but... She can't help it. She's come to care very much for him and he's always doing something.

She smiles though, reaching for his hand.]

See? That wasn't so hard.
