[Jude is looking pensive, trying to figure out if asking this question is even worth it. he hadn't found anything related to spyrites or Elympios since his trip to Odin's library but then again, he hasn't yet explored the entirety of it.
maybe he should, to at least get an answer & to put his never ending racing mind at ease if just for a moment.]
The library in Odin's district... it wouldn't happen to have books from other worlds, would it? I know it's a long shot, but I just figured I'd ask. I haven't gotten to see all of it yet.
[the boy would very much love to continue his research while helping out with matters here but if the reality of it is that he'll ultimately have to put a pause on that until he returns home? then he'll just have to deal with it.]

video.
Or whatever that saying is.
[There's a long, obnoxious pause before he goes on.]
You'll find what you're looking for there, Jude.

Can you blame me? You know just as well as I do what's at stake.
[after that pause, his eyes widen & he leans a bit into the feed.] Really? Are you sure? [he's really hoping Alvin's not just pulling his leg here. that'd be a pretty big let down he won't be too happy about.]

[Alvin feels like he has a right to be picky. Sure, they weren't bad to chat with, but the longer he thinks about it, the more they're utterly useless. One branch can be lost as long as everything else keeps going.
What a load of crap.]
Either way, I'm sure. They've got every book you can dream of in there, and then some.

[the harshness in Alvin's tone surprises him & though he's happy about having the tools he needs to continue his research, he's kind of wondering what Alvin's going on about. had the gods done something to cause such distrust?]

Just have to hunt a little.

[it'll probably take him a while given how big that place is. might take a few days but he'll be sure to find them.]

Usually.
If you ever get curious about this place, check the back stacks. They used to be locked, but someone busted them opened. Saved a lot of hassle. [Cause, you know, breaking into the back rooms of a library was a pain in the ass.]

I'll keep that in mind. You've been a really big help, I can't thank you enough.
[now all he has to do is find a way to locate where exactly books from his world would be. maybe he should map it out... or... or something. it's not going to be as easy as he'd like it to be, but it's a hell of a lot better than fretting over what to do.]

I've only been there once just to look around but I never imagined it would be so... vast.

Are you looking for something in particular?
no subject
Just books from my own world. Before I left, I was doing some research on something & I hate knowing that all of that has been put on pause.

[oh duh he should probably tell her his name.] My name is Jude. I'm still a little bit new myself, but I hope we can help each other.

[because that's seriously a key thing he's looking for.] I guess a little digging won't hurt. I wouldn't mind learning something new along the way.
