Seems like we miss a lot when we go on these trips. I hope everyone is okay though. All that sounded....pretty scary. Those Gentlemen things are gone now, right?

[Almost reminding her of the walkers back home with talk of those Gentlemen killing people and clawing at them, from what she can gather at least. And it scares her. Not to mention the deaths, given the implications of that back home with the walkers. Though she has yet to be sure if that would be an issue here at all.]

But...um, now we're back, Doctor can we go to the library? Or the toystore?

[Because she needs something to take her mind off of all of this right about now. And books and toys would certainly achieve that. Sometimes it isn't easy being such a perceptive child, picking up on so many things that only scare and worry her like this. But she would rather know. Rather people were honest and didn't try to hide things from her. It only makes her more upset when she later finds out the truth regardless anyway.]

If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. I can heal, if someone gets hurt. A little.

I think it would. That way you could know if something bad is going to happen and try stop it, or at least prepare for it.

Unless it's like those tragedies where it happens because people try to prevent it.

Oh. Right....I guess sometimes trying to stop something happening can only make things worse. Or it happens anyway.

I do believe that's why we're here, after all, Thiazi tried to prevent doing what she was supposed to.

The lady in charge of the giants, right? I think I'll be glad to help however I can. I don't think many here seem to like the idea of me fighting though.

I don't know. But I have my gun and I know how to use it if I have to.

I've a sword, but I don't know how to use that. I do believe I should fix that.

I don't either. Even the walkers. But I have shot them, to protect Lee, and Molly. I didn't want them to get hurt or bit, so....

If I have to, I can shoot. To make sure the giants don't hurt you or anyone else.

I want to protect you and the Doctors and everyone. And... and I have the means to do it. I could do it so much better than ever before.

With your drawing power? I'm sure you can find other ways to help out with that if you didn't want to fight though. It seems like a pretty neat power you could do a lot with.

Yes, with my drawing powers. I can do a good deal with it, as far as my powers can take me. But...

But what? You don't have to help by fighting. They need people to help support too. People to gather or make supplies to help out that way, people to tend to those that are hurt and that sort of thing too.

But I don't have something like a gun. Should I learn that, at least, you think?

I'm not sure. I think the main reason the Doctor is sort of okay with me having my gun is that I already have one and know how to use it. I don't think he likes guns very much. But maybe you could try using knives? Or your sword?

I have the vorpal blade. I think I should use that.

That's the sword you mentioned? I'm sure some here could help you learn to use it, if that's what you want. People seem to use a lot of different powers and weapons.

I know there are, all different sorts... [She just doesn't want to hurt anyone, even if the blade felt right in her hand. Not too heavy, not too light, a perfect grip for her hand. She made it for herself, after all.]

I'm sure you'll figure out something, Alice. You can still help with your drawing even without fighting. Maybe one of the adults can help you figure out ways you can help?
