Whoa, that was hell back there. I mean, a few days ago, with those weird guys around. I heard some people died... Is that true?

Also, does anyone know if this was another attack from the Frost Queen? Or was it something else? Anyway, seems this place is more dangerous than I first thought...

We weren't given powers for nothing... Maybe we all should try to organize an attack... That's it, if anyone knows where to strike... I have no bloody idea where that Frost Queen lives.

There was a group sent there awhile ago. They came back, but got their asses thrashed coming and going. That's probably what started this whole goddamn reign of terror against us, her throwing a bitch fit 'cause they broke in while she wasn't watching.

[He hates to say this next part. Hates it.]

And they had god support. Needed it, since our powers don't work outside of Asgard. We can't pull it off without them.

Well, shit... So outside of Asgard we don't have either our own powers or the powers we got here...

That really sucks... Means most effective attacks would have to happen within the city. That means defending... Fuck...

Yeah. Good system, huh? Force your own city to be the battlefield.

[He gets that there are reasons, or at least that there could be. There's still not a whole lot of trust there. But goddamnit, their hands are so tied.]

Unless the gods'll just lead a fucking march already. Last time they tried to fight it here, one of 'em had to blow himself up just to hit stalemate. They know it won't work.

We're so fucked... Or at least the gods will be, in the end. It's not really our city... Only as long as it takes us to defeat the enemy...

[Yeah, seriously gods, how do you expect the Travellers to attempt any kind of direct attack?]

Damn... I guess they'll just keep recruiting more people until we're enough to defeat them inside the city?

Except that people keep slipping through their cracks. We've got more now than we used to, but the new ones are at baseline with whatever powers they got, so we're worse off. Just way more cannon fodder.

I guess I'm one of those newbies. I'm just learning to use my powers, to be honest. But it's quite interesting what can be done...
