All right, so I was planning a much more exciting introduction to the wonder of Santana Lopez, but instead, you're gonna have to deal with this because, OK, I've only been here for ... not very long, and do people just have this weird compulsion to keep killing each other? I mean, if we're supposed to buy this whole "God Thing" -- and trust me, I'm not sure I do -- aren't we supposed to also expect them to stop murders and crap?

Come on already, if you've really got the need to keep murdering people, can you stop broadcasting it to everyone? And if you find a dead body, why do you have to make sure everyone knows? Apparently it's commonplace.

Because seriously, I didn't exactly choose to come here, and now people are forcing me to give a damn about a bunch of people who have died.

And you know what the solution to that is? People not dying.

So get on it. Gods or ... whoever. Or be like real murderers and make sure that no one finds out.

I recently asked the same thing of these gods. Apparently, they lack the power. As for why it would prove to be in the best interest of all when people begin to die, it is to see if there is a pattern, if it's not just an isolated incident. It so happens that, indeed, it isn't an isolated incident. Two people have died and in the same manner. Somehow, I doubt this is the work of a traveler. There is a war going on, after all, and whoever did this did so with the intent to leave a message. Otherwise, you would be correct. Bodies would not have been found if they were not meant to be.

The reason we bring it to the attention of everyone is so that in working together, we can find whoever or whatever is doing this, and put a stop to it. A capable group educated by facts is a lot more useful than one blinded by ignorance.

I hate to break it to you, but you are not in your own little world anymore, Santana Lopez. This is Asgard, and we have been chosen to be here for a reason. We are meant to work together, to band and find solutions to the challenges issued us. You are not excluded from that, no matter how much you would like to be. Complaining when a problem arises simply because you do not want to deal with the gravity of the situation makes you useless, not because of the gods or any outside factors, but by your own will.

I am afraid that the connotation varies among cultures? If they really are the Norse Gods, then the name does make them justice. Like the Greek ones, they are not precisely like the Christian God.
