Well, it seems I've missed a few things! [ Charley is in her room in Hel's welcome hall, brushing her hair back and out of her face, smiling dryly at the camera. ] I hope nothing too horrid has happened to any of you while I've been gone.
If the Doctor - all of you, please - could get in touch with me, I would be most appreciative. [ She reaches up, like she's going to fiddle with a pendant that she's not actually wearing, then drops her hand to her lap. ] Please.

[ Eight said lovely things about Clementine, and Charley is rather fond of children, to be honest. ]
video.
[She. Almost came down at the slight noise earlier but figured Eight was already down there so he could take care of it. Mostly. Which seems to have been the case. She didn't want to interrupt, and there is often sudden and strange noises, living with three Doctors and all. She's slowly starting to get used to that.]
That sounds good. He got more hot chocolate right?
[Because. Bleh coffee is for adults.]
video.
[ She pokes in the cupboards for a moment ]
Well-prepared, he is - there are three tins here, and milk in the iceb-- refrigerator. [ of all the terms to stumble over, honestly, she knows what a refrigerator is. ] I can put some on, if you'd like. He got chocolate biscuits as well.

[Which she does, all but running down to the kitchen with a smile, her shorter hair pulled back into pigtails beneath her precious cap, her white tunic dress similar enough to the one back home that was ruined upon her arrival. She eyes the new arrival but doesn't seem to consider her much a threat, not if she is a friend of the Doctor. She'll come tip toe near the bench to watch Charley mix up the hot drinks, knowing she isn't allowed to with the boiling water herself.]
Hi!
video.
Hullo! Well, let's have a look at you. [ She makes a little bit of a show of looking Clementine over. ] Good, you look very bright, just like the Doctor said. My name's Charley, it is lovely to meet you.

Charley. It's nice to meet you too! The Doctor told you about me?

He did indeed! Said you were very bright, and maybe needed someone to look out for you. [ stage whisper ] That was partially an excuse to keep you nearby, he gets dreadfully lonely sometimes but hates admitting it.
[ She's paraphrasing, but really it's true. ]

[Because Clementine can manage on her own if she needs to, though she appreciates everyone helping, especially the Doctor. But she can't help but smile at that, leaning a bit closer, though mindful of the stove.]
You think so? I guess even adults can feel lonely sometimes too. But there seem to be a few friends of his here, and now he has you too!

[ There we are - time to pour the cocoa into a mug and put a few biscuits on a little plate, then turn and place both on the table. ]
There we are, cocoa and biscuits.
Grown-ups can get very lonely indeed, the Doctor more than most. He's so very very old, even though he doesn't look it, and he's lost so much. He'd just be a lonely old man rattling about the universe alone without people to care about, you included.

[She'll just follow the biscuits and hot chocolate, taking a seat at the table and savoring the sight and scent. Clementine has spent so long back home living off of cans and such, scavenging and making do, all of this food and drink here is still a novelty for her.]
He told me he was pretty old. But I'm glad he has all of you, his friends. Even being able to go to all those places and times, it wouldn't be as fun unless you went with someone, right?

[ She snags a biscuit for herself and nibbles on it. She's technically already had her tea, but she could have one more. ]
So, I'm afraid the Doctor didn't tell me much about you other than your name and that you were quite bright. How old are you?

[Though. Her birthday was still pretty recent back home and obviously given their situation with the walkers she didn't really celebrate it. But it is still another year gone. She's more than a year wiser with her circumstances, in any case. But she is lucky to find such nice adults around in Asgard, she muses as she takes a sip of drink, savoring it before nibbling at a biscuit.]
I haven't been to school in a while though.
