Well, it seems I've missed a few things! [ Charley is in her room in Hel's welcome hall, brushing her hair back and out of her face, smiling dryly at the camera. ] I hope nothing too horrid has happened to any of you while I've been gone.

If the Doctor - all of you, please - could get in touch with me, I would be most appreciative. [ She reaches up, like she's going to fiddle with a pendant that she's not actually wearing, then drops her hand to her lap. ] Please.

[ Kettle on, don't blush at the conclusion he clearly jumped to oh Doctor really. Get the cups. ]

Glad we agree. Though you still didn't answer my question. I don't want to inconvenience anyone.

[Yes, cups are a good idea.

He finally turns to her, but his gaze is shyly glued to the cups in his hands.]

There's room, though...I- I mean, if you'd like...

[Spit it out, man!]

[ She raises her eyebrows and takes the cups from him, trying to catch his eye. ]

If I'd like... what?

[He gulps and looks up.]

To share with me, perhaps?

Only if you want to, of course. I wouldn't like to presume...

[ WOAH NELLY THAT WAS UNEXPECTED. Why, she's not sure, but it was. She blushes a bit. ]

Well, I-- [ and then she jumps when the kettle starts whistling shrilly behind her, followed by a laugh as she presses a hand over her heart ] Goodness, that startled me!

[ She leaves him hanging horribly because the kettle is noisy and irritating, and gets everything steeping before turning back to him with a shy smile. ]

Yes, Doctor, I think I would be amenable to that.

[The kettle makes him jump as well, and he fidgets nervously -- almost Eleven-like -- as he waits for Charley to give him her decision.

Finally she turns and gives his answer, and a giddy laugh bursts from him.]

You would? That's...that's wonderful!

[ Charley laughs a bit, and kisses his cheek. ] Do you have biscuits?

Ah, yes! I believe we do.

[He still looks a tad starry-eyed as he digs around for the package of biscuits and hauls them out, giving them a little wave to show he's found them.]

There are three Doctors in this house. If we have nothing else, we'll have tea and biscuits.

[ And here, biscuits on a plate on the table, tea done steeping. ] How would you like your tea?

[Lalala, all about tea, not about the huge step they just took. It's always so much easier to make the leap than it is to look back at the distance you leaped.]

Milk, two sugars, please?

[ Tea is the important part, clearly. Making a huge step in their relationship is no necessary to discuss, right? ]

Here you are, then! Milk, two sugars, and a plate of biscuits.

[ She sits next to him with her own tea (milk and honey) and nibbles on a biscuit ] The Welcome Hall is nice enough, but this is much homier.

[Nope, nope. Though...soon would be good, probably. He's starting to learn.]

Yes, it is.

[He sips at the tea and shrugs.]

It's strange, but I kind of like it. I mean, if I can't fly away, might as well make the best home I can.
