Well, it seems I've missed a few things! [ Charley is in her room in Hel's welcome hall, brushing her hair back and out of her face, smiling dryly at the camera. ] I hope nothing too horrid has happened to any of you while I've been gone.
If the Doctor - all of you, please - could get in touch with me, I would be most appreciative. [ She reaches up, like she's going to fiddle with a pendant that she's not actually wearing, then drops her hand to her lap. ] Please.

[ It's the best fun two companions can have! ]
Ah. The Eighth. [ Is that a blush you see before thee? Yes. Yes it is. ] Though he had a bit more of a foppish look when I travelled with him, his hair and jacket here are a new development.

He's a brilliant dancer, your Doctor. A good man, too.
[Of course, she's sure that's already a well known fact, so she just glosses over it.]
They all are, though. Even when they're the ones that get us into trouble.

[ that last bit is rather blurted. Yeah, Charley, it's different. It doesn't hurt that you also snog Eight quite thoroughly sometimes. ]
no subject
[Clara can readily agree to that. She cares for all the Doctors that are here, but the connection is different with the one she's traveled and fought alongside with.]
I'm Clara, by the way. Clara Oswald. I figure I'll be seeing you in person shortly, so best to get an introduction out of the way so we can jump right into the good things.
[Such as mocking the Doctor with one or more of them present to overhear. Or going exploring together.]

Oh, please call him that right to his face. I'd pay good money to see his reaction.
no subject
Sorry, Doctor. You're doomed. ]
I will endeavor to work it into conversation at the earliest opportunity. It's so nice to have girlfriends here, everyone back home was rather... stuffy for my tastes. My school was not exactly filled with the adventurous sort.
no subject
[Oh, Doctor, going after the young ones. Surprise, surprise.]
Don't worry about adventure, though. It always seems to find me on its own, all without the Doctor ever coming into the picture. I'm sure there's plenty of things we can find to do in a place like this.
no subject
[ They're the easiest to impress, probably. ]
Oh, certainly! Of course, one must be a bit careful, as adventures can go rather pear-shaped at a moment's notice, and there's no TARDIS here to take us to safety.
no subject
[And if clara sounds confused and perplexed by that, it's because she still is.]
Not that she'd take me anywhere even if she was more box-like, necessarily.
no subject
Oh, believe me... I'm well aware. [ muttered ] Stupid old cow.
no subject
This is certainly a development that has Clara hiding a smirk.]
And here I thought I was the only person that's ever called her a grumpy old cow.
no subject
Doesn't she like you, either?
no subject
[Actually, she's pretty sure it has to do with her existing in way too many points all at once across time and space and being overwhelming and therefore a bother to the TARDIS, but hey. She'll play that one cool.]
I might've called her a snogbox. To the Doctor's face, before I knew what exactly he was trying to drag me into.

I am quite convinced that she dislikes me because I'm a paradox. Among a few other things. Which is hardly my fault, if she should be blaming anyone for that it should be the Doctor, he's the one who removed me from a fixed point in time I never should have left.
no subject
Oh, she is so suspicious, but it's not exactly her fault.
[She's pretty sure it's more or less the Doctor's fault. Or you know...hers, since she technically remembers helping pick out the TARDIS or something weird like that. ]
Paradox, though. How impossible are you, exactly? Are we talking someone displaced in time, someone that ought to be dead but isn't, or someone that's split themselves apart into thousands of pieces across the universe?
no subject
[ Charley does look a bit sheepish. ]
It's fixed, though. The web of time. So no worries on that count, at least.
no subject
[She likes the fact that Charley's a bit of an impossible girl as well, it gives them another little thing to have in common. ]
Technically speaking, I think I might have some paradox in me. Not too sure if it's that, or just an impossibility. In either case, I'm pretty sure it's why the TARDIS won't have much to do with me. That, and jealousy. Not sure what else would inspire her to move my room where I couldn't find it night after night.
no subject
They'll be good friends. ]
She did that to you too? Thankfully not often, but sometimes, oh, I could just scream!
no subject
[She thinks she and Charley ought to form a club. A victimized by
Regina Georgethe TARIS club. ]Don't think screaming's gonna help any, though. Retaliation might be the only suitable course of action. That, or letting the Doctor lecture her on how he wants us to all get along.
