[For the most part, since returning from Vanaheim Luke's been staying off of the network and just watching. The city and the people in the city were interesting enough, even if he wasn't any more impressed with the Norse gods than the Greek ones. With the disappearance and reappearance of Annabeth and his blow-up with Thalia, not to mention everything that had happened while he was outside of the city, it was no wonder that he decided to come back and make another appearance just to serve as a distraction.

So today, Asgard, you get a lovely view from someone seated on the ground outside in the castle courtyard watching the ongoings of the festival. People are free to come up to him if they'd like, but for the most part he's going to pretend to be focused on the network. The best way to practice his telepathy requires two steps: one, sit outside in an open area where he's bound to come across people whose thoughts he can hear, and two, lie about doing it. He's pretty sure this isn't going to get the results that he wants, but he's got nothing else to do at the moment. Practicing, training is an ingrained part of his life. To not do such seems so...strange.]

Nice place. [That's all he'll say about that though.] Guess I should have asked this a while ago when I first showed up, but better late than never, right?

So. What powers did you guys get? [Because talking about the festival's not going to get him the answers that he wants. Being at the festival might though.]

[Uh. He's not entirely sure what to make of Equius, exactly, seeing how he's not really like anything he's ever seen. But then again he's from a world full of monsters. This isn't too surreal.]

But isn't alchemy more potion-work? [Because he's done a bit of alchemy work himself making greek fire.]

Alchemization, not Alchemy. If you want the latter, stop by the potions' shops in town. Alchemization is the process of fabrication of material or objects instantly with component materials. The version here uses stamina from the user instead when the object's drawn.

[ well this wasn't SURPRISING or ODD or HORRIFYING. not at all! nico's just gonna take a moment to... stare at the screen in shock and confusion, going back and forth between deciding whether to answer or not. it was odd seeing luke, and not only because he was dead where nico was from- nico'd also spent a lot of time awkwardly prying into his past. blue eyes or not, this was probably a dumb idea and he should-

[Likewise, Luke is going to stare at the screen mostly in confusion when he hears Nico's response. Now when did this demigod turn up in Asgard? He was really starting to get sick of not having his original powers. He was starting to think having the ability to sense everybody was a good thing.

However, he just sort of grins. This is hilarious.]

[ YEP he's already regretting this. he bristles at the response, looking as though he's wondering if he could just throw the bracelet and forget he started this conversation. ]

Go ahead, I'll give you a minute to figure it out.

[ unfortunately he had not answered nico's rebuttal, so he's just going to try to remind himself that he read that NONE of them had any of their powers from their home world here, not even people like luke. ]

Is this supposed to be some kind of joke? [ flatly, as though he couldn't think of anything less funny. ]

I'm not sure yet. I guess that's not normal. [But without missing a beat he's turning the conversation around.] What does charm do?

It depends on what level you are. The first level is mostly just calming people around you, sort of putting them at ease. The second level makes you really attractive to whoever you use it on. [ Which is kinda weird, but whatever. ] I'm not sure about the third.

What house were you put into? That can help you figure out what your power is.
