[ The video starts and a young child can be seen; he is ten, but he looks more mature than that. But he is no normal child; at the top of his head there are two wolf ears, both dropped, conveying that he feels slightly upset with all of this. Or perhaps he is just unconfortable with all the noise coming from the festival.

He doesn’t speak, at first, and he doesn’t really look at the bracelet at first. He seems to be focused on something else (smells, sounds). Eventually, he does speak, with a soft low voice ]

Tell me about your forests. And this world's forests. [ his ears move slightly, finally rising, and allowing others to notice the black tip of his left ear ]

[ Ame turns off his bracelet and he heads towards the bank. He remembers seeing it so it's not hard to find it again.

Erik will find him crouching down (an attempt to sit like a wolf, though it really makes no difference to him), picking up a caterpillar he found crawling on the sidewalk. ]

[he recognizes him right away - much easier than kurt, who was making a point of hiding in the shadows. at least ame didn't do that.]

[ Ame's ears perk up at the voice and eyes turn to Erik. Though he knows he is waiting for someone, he hasn't seen his face and he sort of expected someone who looked different from the rest, after what they have talked about.

Ame remains still, eyes set on Erik without blinking, very much like a animal that is ready to run off if there is any sudden movement. But eventually his body seems to relax and Ame gets up, bringing the caterpillar along with him ]

I know. I want to find grass or a tree for it. [ not a sidewalk where it might be stepped on ]

Yes. Erik Lehnsherr. I'm much more comfortable typing, than actually talking to people on the network, unless I have to.

[Ame is happy with just saving a bug. Even if he hunts, it's to sustain himself, not for cruelty. The animals he can save, he will.

It's me, my mom, my sister and dad. Mom isn't like us, she is a human. And dad died when I was a baby. [ he still considers him to be in his family, regardless. ]

Mom always took care of me, she wanted me to be safe and protected me, so I could find my path as I grew up.

But she doesn't have to, anymore. I already found it. [ his smile grows bigger ] Now it's my turn to protect. She doesn't have to be worried anymore.
